The location was extremely convenient being only a block from the Union Station transportation hub making it easy to get around and within easy walking distance of the Capitol, the Supreme Court, the Library of Congress and the National Gallery, etc.Off-site parking was only a block away, reasonably priced and safe. Excellent Irish Pub (The Dubliner) on-site, with an excellent French restaurant also nearby. Rooms are extremely clean, quiet and comfortable. Everything about this hotel was nice, including the price. Definitely will return if visiting DC again.

This was my first time staying at the Phoenix Park and I will be back. The staff was wonderful, less than two blocks away from Union Station, and I felt safe as a single traveler. There is also a restaurant next door! Bonus.

Staff was so incredibly friendly. Parking was super expensive $64 per night. Dubliner was super crowded and loud. Food was mediocre. Wish there was a continental breakfast offered in the hotel.

Great location for explorers
Perfect location and very friendly staff. All was very clean, room size was accurate for travellers needs. Metro station within 5 minutes walk, but all maint points of interest are accessible by 30 minutes walk through nice area. If I will be back in Washington DC I will use it again.

Our weekend Stay was amazing, location is super convenient, everything was clean we really enjoyed our stay. Only complain, our last day we got neighbors next door they had kids and you can literally hear everything next door, isolation isn’t that good.

I’ve loved the The Phoenix for decades but hadn’t been there in 10 years since I’d moved out of the area. I was delighted by the refresh - decor is lovely, beds were wonderful and really loved the 2nd floor coffee/tea lounge. Perfection — Can’t wait to return.
