It was really a difficult experience for me. I was supposed to stay for two nights, but my plans changed, and there was no flexibility in canceling the second night. Further on the one night I was there. There was an emergency alarm that went off at four in the morning as a false alarm and made us all Leave the hotel. There was no staff on site who is knowledgeable and knew what was going on.

First Impression of Washington DC!
Well, I was truly upset that this hotel charges the same rate as others in the neighborhood but is the only one that does not offer shuttle service to and from the airport. The King Deluxe Spa room is very dated, furniture is torn and looks like it has seen better days. The TV was on it's last leg, the color hues of pink and purple were the only colors present on the screen. Their is only one spot to charge using USB so make sure you bring a wall brick if you want to charge your phone or ear buds. The spa tub had an inch of standing water in it when I arrived, the electronic control board had holes in it and the jets were yellow and unclean. The lights over the sink sang a high pitch tone until I ran the blowdryer and then they just dimmed and flickered and gave up. Not a high end stay, but the sheets were clean and the staff was super friendly.

The room was spacious enough for two. Bed and pillows were comfortable. The staff was the light of the stay! From front desk being extra helpful with our late check-in time to the valet staff being friendly and corteous no matter the time of day. At the restaurant, Rizza our server was amazingly patient with my non-English speaking family and she was very respectful all the time.
