I’ve stayed at the Washington Plaza hotel about five times, and the experience is always wonderful. Check-in is swift. The parking below the hotel with in/out privileges is very convenient, with an elevator right up to the rooms. The elevator requires key card activation, so there’s that extra level of security. The café on the premises serves a wonderful breakfast. I find the rooms very comfortable and spacious enough. The bed and pillows are extremely comfortable, and the linens are always very smooth and clean. The lobby is well appointed and spacious, with comfortable city. The neighborhood is wonderful, just off Thomas Circle, and only a short walk to many bistros, restaurants, and shops on 14th St.
