We enjoyed our stay at The Washington Inn. The hotel staff was very friendly. The room was a bit small and dated but clean. We appreciated the one site resturant for dinner and the nice garden room for breakfast. Surprisingly, the menu prices were very reasonable!

The Washington Plaza Hotel is conveniently located between some of the top attractions in DC and some of its popular nightlife locations. It is scrupulously clean, and the staff is friendly. The bathroom at least in my room was clearly redone recently and the bed was comfortable. Otherwise the room was a bit dated in terms of the individual light switches, separate sink and so on common to hotels of its era but a bit anachronistic now - down to the bar soap. But it’s convenient and clean.
