Alanna worked the table for breakfast at Wayerford Marina Hotel. She was very friendly and went out of her way to make us feel welcome. All of the staff were very helpful and friendly.

This property does not make any attempt to convince you that it is anything other than what it is, which is student housing. I knew that going into it, but I think that it’s fair to make sure that others know as well. It’s a well-appointed dormitory facility. If you’re looking for a hotel, stay elsewhere! The best part of this place (other than being low-priced) is that there’s a bus stop right out front that can take you anywhere you need to go. I would highly recommend this place as long as you understand what you’re getting!

Ideal for a brief one night stay in Waterford. Secure parking. City centre walkable. Riverside location. We ate in the hotel restaurant as we had arrived quite late and we couldn't find anywhere else open or with availability.

The hotel is located along the water and is walking distance to the Waterford museum. We had the hotel restaurant prepare food for us to take upstairs and we were not charged a room service fee since we came down to get it ourselves.

Our stay at the hotel was lovely. The staff were so helpful and kind. They went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. We stayed during the Spraoi festival and the staff showed us where all the events would be and gave us their recommendations. When the TV wasn't working (network issues which only affected us for an hour) they fixed it immediately. Would highly recommend this hotel!

I stay at a hotel to get a good nights sleep for the many hours of driving that I do. It is disturbing when I call the front desk to inquire about the loud music that is keeping me awake and the staff states that it is planned, live music entertainment downstairs, and it will be going past midnight. Sounds like they expect me to just “deal with it”.

Good for town. Good car park. Quiet rooms.
Nice quiet room. Really good bathroom recently refinished. Quiet extractor fan. Most importantly a place to put my case. TV was a bit fiddly to plug my Firestick in but perseverance won. Good recycling in the room. Restaurant has the usual offerings. I can recommend the fish cakes as a main course. Reception staff deserve a special mention all of them I spoke to where super helpful and genuinely care. Car park is good for Vans and the breakfast is early enough for Professionals. Short walk to town is also a plus. Next time I am in Waterford this will be my first choice.
