The beds were nice. The carpeting in the room was worn and damp. There was mildew on the ceiling of the shower. The pool was closed. The hotel required pre-checkin complete with credit card information and a photo of a driver’s license, yet all of this was requested again by the front desk.

It’s a great property if you have pets. However my toilet clogged very easily and the phone was not hooked up properly. But otherwise had a great experience and will be back again.

Upon arrival, the hotel looks updated and recently modernized. When we went to check in, we weee informed that the pool was closed which was highly disappointing because that was the main reason we chose this hotel. The desk clerk let us know that it may open the following day, which it did so we were able to utilize that then. The outdoor pool is a nice amenity at this hotel. As for the room, it was average. The second floor has a distinct scent and our room smelled a little like mold. It wasn’t too overbearing but you could definitely tell there was a mold issue somewhere. Our bed also had a distinct smell, possibly coming from the mattress as the sheets all looked clean. The rooms also seem to have paper thin walls- we could hear kids screaming and crying from across the hall as if they were at our door, and heard the morning alarm each day from the guests next door. So any noise can be heard easily from other guests. The free breakfast was okay, it could use some work but the staff were very attentive to the breakfast bar. There was also a nice area where guests ate breakfast. Overall, this hotel was okay for the stay we needed, but we determined we probably wouldn’t stay here again if we were back in the area.

The picture did not tell the true tale. It was an old former Holiday Inn. Long long hallways to get to the room. The window shades did not open so the room was dark and claustrophobic. Paint peeling on the walls and behind the doors. I did not feel safe. The only good thing about the place was the staff, who were wonderful. I will not return. I was very disappointed and relieved it was for only one night. We could not wait to leave.

Overall a great stay. Immaculate facility, staff very friendly and helpful, easy access to all services nearby, easy parking, fabulous continental breakfast way beyond coffee and a muffin. Should be a daily start for everyone. Quick and easy check-in and check out.

Great place for the price and awesome service
The service was above par and awesome, including housekeeping and restaurant. The breakfast is basic but tasted great with awesome service. The bathrooms were upgraded and beds comfortable. Love the pool and fitness center. It needs some TLC though.

First, I was disappointed to find that the pool was closed and there was no prior communication regarding its closure. We had to sit in our rooms because there was no other place available. Moreover, our group was disturbed by a call from the front desk, followed shortly by a staff member knocking on our door. We were informed that there was a noise complaint from our room, and the staff member rudely told us that they could hear us in the hall.To clarify, we had booked three rooms, and we were all adults in our mid to late 50s, simply having conversation. The following morning, we sought to speak with a manager about the incident, but the front desk agent informed us that there was no manager on duty as he was out on sick leave and they were unsure of his return. To our surprise, the same staff member from the previous night came out and identified herself as the supervisor. She offered no apology for the inconvenience and continued to speak with us in a dismissive manner. We felt completely disrespected and humiliated. To make matters worse, I emailed the General Manager, Victor Nelson, two days ago, and I still haven't received a response. This lack of courtesy from higher management only mirrors the attitude of the line staff. As professionals in the hospitality industry, we understand the importance of high service standards. The treatment we received, however, made us feel unwelcome and even discriminated against.We will never stay here again. HORRIBLE SERVICE."

My friend and I meet here several times a year since we are at opposite sides of our state and this is about in the middle for us. We like it here because the parking is plentiful; all the staff are friendly and pleasant, and they always put us near each other. Normally the restaurant is open but because of a thunderstorm with no electricity for several hours, we had to out. The room I had was very spacious but I gave it a 4 because the lounging chair is very uncomfortable and does not support your back all that well. And also, there were several little fruit flies (it looked like) and I think it would be a good idea to spray monthly around the building, I HATE bugs in a hotel. I missed yogurt for breakfast, but the eggs were tasty. I missed having hot cocoa packets too. And the cranberry juice had run out.
