1. There was no milk in the room for tea/coffee. 2. The restaurant/bar closed early because "it was quiet" 3. The rooms themselves are in a pretty poor condition: furniture is scraped up and cosmetically looks awful 4. The whole place is rather drab and not pleasant I wish i had stayed elsewhere. Saturday night partying around the periphery of the hotel was very loud and woke me up multiple times. Avoid this location if you need peace and quiet

An older hotel in a great location close to Te Papa,Courtney Place,and Oriental Parade. Friendly and helpful staff. A few nice freebies in our room which was great,always nice to see a hotel operator doing something extra for guests. Would definitely stay again
