Great location, surprisingly quiet and the breakfast and in room treats were a nice addition. Especially loved the proper tea, teapots for complimentary use. The room is really well appointed. Comfortable bed too :)

Good experience.
Very nice stylish room (art deco) and comfortable bed. My colleagues however had not great rooms yet paid the same price. I was lucky I guess. I would stay here again if I could guarantee I got a room like mine. Excellent location very central.

I was extremly disappointed that the group I was travelling all have lovely big rooms with windows. I had upgraded myself they did not and I got stuck with what was like a bus drivers room with no internal windows it was HORRIBLE. We all booked through hotel.com and I was the only who upgraded and I got the worst room extremely disappointed and given the amount of travel I do to the capital I will not be back. Also the room service phone rings unanswered mulitple times and breakfast was very sad.

Troy by Wyndham is a beautiful new hotel. Modern, very quiet & comfortable. Our room, on the first floor, had no windows! Needless to say, it was dark & very nice for sleeping. The hotel offers a really good continental breakfast, with cereal, yoghurt, toast, toppings, Nespresso coffee, juice. There are many delicious restaurants & a grocery store (New World) very close by. We parked on the street outside the hotel. Unfortunately our car was damaged while parked. I’d have preferred a secure lot close by. We were encouraged by staff to use the metered parking outside the hotel. Otherwise, the staff was amazing! Excellent choice in Wellington. Very close to the ferry to the South Island.

Good reasonably priced place to stay. Was surprised to find that breakfast was included, there was no mention of this when we booked. Friendly helpful staff, room was clean and comfortable. Only faults we found were bathroom door was squeaky and the breakfast area was a little small if everyone arrived around the same time.

My stay was smooth, and the breakfast was convenient, clean, and efficient. I stayed in a base room (room 115), which is close to the stairway. It started to get noisy in the early morning due to the cleaning staff and thin windows. I would recommend this room to those who need to get up early. Overall, it's a nice hotel with a great location and a good continental breakfast. I would recommend it to friends, but suggest avoiding certain noisy rooms.

Rooms nice and location good but disappointing overall. 1) The shower in the room was lukewarm and pressure was poor. 2) The lift was often stuck on 3rd floor, we were in and out all the time so it was very annoying. 3) The gym's treadmill was out of order.
