Wentworth's Glade and Trail lodge is finally finished and ready to welcome you and your friends/family with a property designed from start to finish for everyone to enjoy the Wentworth Valley's outdoor playground from one of the best locations in the Valley. The timber trusses, floor joists and rough boards in addition to multiple wood fireplaces create a true rustic lodge vacation experience. Only a short ride/drive to the base of Ski/Bike Wentworth which is now a 4 seasons resort for all of your outdoor adventures and fun. We have everything required to enjoy extended stays incorporated into the house. A spacious kitchen with a 36" Gas range for all of your cooking requirements, A large dining area with seating for 10 plus 4 at the bar enables everyone a place for dinner. The large great room has plenty of seating space to handle your evenings by the wood fireplace. An oversized hot tub and wood barrel sauna are there to help enhance your relaxation after a day at the mtn.
The large south facing windows overlooking the huge deck makes for nice all day sunshine inside the house and also out on the deck, while a quaint rear deck off the kitchen allows quick access to the grill and allows for late evening sunset viewing through the trees in summertime.
2 King bedrooms, plus a 3rd king in the 3rd floor loft area are located upstairs while a pair of bunk rooms are on the main level with a total of 4 twins, 2 queens and 1 king. This ensures that the house can sleep up to 16 all on luxurious Simmons Napa Black mattresses.
A central heat pump ensures optimal temperatures in all areas of the house no matter what the season and in floor heat in the bathrooms and mudroom provide comfort underfoot on the tiled surfaces. A custom built boot/glove dryer uses ducted heat from the lower level fireplace to dry all of your wet gear between sessions on the slopes. An additional lounging/TV area is located on the main level around the fireplace in the "garage/cave" as well as a 3rd shower where you can change out of your riding gear and shower before entering the house. There is also another mudroom/bench style area here to keep your wet or dirty gear in rather than entering the house.
What Glade and Trail Lodge combines is the vision and ideas for the ideal vacation home from some of the regions top builders who love life on two wheels and two sticks and wanted to design and build their own place with ideas that make it a truly unique place for us to enjoy ourselves. After 39 months of weekend/spare time construction, we also figured that it only made sense to offer it to others as well so that there is a great landing spot to enjoy this fantastic area that we all have grown to love.
