We enjoyed a two night stay at Mountain Vista Hotel. A ten minute drive to Yellowstone National Park was convenient. Located away from all the congestion in the town of West Yellowstone. Clean and quiet. We'll stay here again.

Attractive lobby, friendly staff welcomed us on a somewhat late arrival. Room clean, nicely decorated if a bit small. Nice bathroom. Numerous items available for an included breakfast though no cooked eggs, etc. Pretty location about 6 miles outside West Yellowstone though rain and low clouds limited views.

Was an okay stay. No elevator so had to carry bags to second floor. Very strict about no early check in as we had arrived earlier than expected. Breakfast area small so a challenge to get a table as many were early risers to start their days, presumably in Yellowstone or other related activities. About 20 minutes to get to stores, food etc.

Good property is away from town and is quiet. Breakfast selection was good. No elevator was a little inconvenient but only one flight of steps to the room wasn't too bad

During our stay the facility lost power overnight for approx. 7 hours and all kinds of bells, alarms & appliances were going off. Temperature became unbearable. Hotel staff was advised of our complaint prior to check out & assured a refund. 7 calls were made to Orbitz and the GM and assistant GM who never had the decency to call back even after we were assured we would get a refund as a result of our inconvenience. This hotel clearly doesn’t value their customers, and I would never stay there again in the future.

Property was safe, parking was good. Appreciated A/C! It's hard to sleep when hot and you need "white noise". Ice machine was good-needed ice for backpack! Small selection of breakfast items but Good. Overall, good stay.

The building is old but clean, comfortable, and close to Yellowstone NP. Was quiet until guests started slamming their doors in the morning. One night stay, mid-week for $300... overpriced.
