Delightful
This property was wonderful for the entire family. It was everything in it’s listing and more when adding in the amenities of the surrounding area. We were 3 generations meeting for fun and relaxation. The lake provided so much entertainment for all ages. We were excited about the advertised kayaks available but we found other fun games and such to enjoy in the garage. We ran radio controlled boats from the dock. The trees around the lake provided wind protection which made it perfect for RC boating. We fished, photographed the beauty on the property, built a fire pit every night, and all around unwound in the quiet. Most of our stay was during weekdays and when the weekend came we could hear ATV’s on the trails but it was not bothersome at all. Maybe were a tad envious we did not bring the ATV’s? LOL Plenty of parking provided. The kitchen was well equipped and the configuration of the house worked well with our extended family needs with rooms and bathrooms well placed. Thank you so much Sarah, the property contact was amazing with questions and prompt answers.

More than lived up to our expectations
We were pleasantly surprised to see this property was the only one on a private lake. The Grandsons fished every chance they could catching and releasing probably 200 fish. They were small but kept them happy. We did Pictured Rocks twice on kayak and ship wreck tour, went to Mackinac Island (2 hour drive) and hiked many waterfalls. Everyone can’t wait to come up again.

Beautiful property, great for families
We stayed here with another family, kids ranged from 3 to 17 and everyone had a great time. The home is secluded and private yet within a 20-30 minute drive of many attractions. There’s also a small general store less than a mile down the road that has most of your pantry and fridge staples, ice cream, and pizza. The home is well stocked with a large kitchen and plenty of space for our two families. We had 10 people total and never felt crowded. The hosts are wonderful and very responsive. We would definitely stay here again.

Great snowmobiling home-base.
Stayed for three nights on a sledding trip with friends. The place was clean and had plenty of beds, bathrooms and room for all of our gear. Parking is a little tight, but we made it work. It is very close to some great snowmobiling trails. Having a general store with gas 1/4 mile down road is really great. We had an issue with the septic and called the owners, they were SUPER responsive and fixed the issue within hours, could not have asked for a better response to a problem. We would absolutely recommend this property for snowmobiling destinations.

Wonderfully peaceful
There were four of us, all from different urban type areas of the southeastern US. The sheer quiet of the property was such a nice quiet break for all of us. Wonderful sitting on the deck watching the mist on the lake in the mornings as the sun rose and seeing the stars at night. Kayaks are a very nice asset, the lake is just big enough for a restful morning or evening paddle. Of course we all had to jump off the dock into the lake and it was a bit nippy but also wonderfully refreshing after hiking in Pictured Rocks. Kitchen is very well equipped with dishes and silverware. Also had cooking knives that actually cut, something not all rental properties seem to have. Would definitely rent again.
