Located 6 km or 10 mins drive from the city, you will find a beautiful self-contained unit beside the Whanganui river on the famed Te Araroa Trail.

This large studio unit has a very comfy Queen bed, its own kitchenette, toilet, shower, and TV. You also have your own outdoor garden seating area where you can sit and enjoy your morning coffee or evening glass of wine whilst listening to the sounds of birds amidst the tropical garden setting.

In summer, insect screens on both sets of doors mean you can fully enjoy the indoor outdoor ambience, and in the colder months, you will be kept warm and cozy as the unit is fully insulated, double glazed, and fully equipped with electric blankets, and heating.

A complimentary two course dinner is provided ! Great if you are arriving late in the day and don't want to cook and just want to stay in and eat.

Wonderful home-away-from-home in Whanganui.
A few minutes drive from the Town Centre and down a short driveway we were delighted to find a little oasis of peace and tranquility on the backs of the Whanganui river. We were met by a lovely couple, Stephen and Mandy, who met us with open arms and provided us with exceptional care and attention during our short stay. After a long trip we arrived late and they heated our dinner for us and made sure that the unit was warm and ready for us to rest. Thank you very much we will definitely come and stay again when we return to Whanganui. Ngā mihi nui. Linda and Mike
