This is what you'd expect from a budget hotel. It was fine. Nothing great but nothing terrible. There weren't flexible on a later check-out and were adamant that I was out by 11, even during the low-season when most rooms were vacant. I get that it's a rule but it did still annoy me. The location is great and near the main village.

The pillows were crazy thick and bothered my wife and I, her more than me. Other than that, hotel is older but clean and well run. Fyi that jacuzzi and pool are outside and require walking through the parking lot. We enjoyed our stay.

I can't give a positive review of this property based on how negative the experience was. I made a mistake booking this hotel for my 18-year-old son so he and a friend could go biking for 4 days in Whistler. They have biked Sun Peaks, Revy, and Valemont all summer and have stayed in hotels in various places. He showed up for the booking and wasn't able to check-in due to their policy of being 19 years old. He turns 19 in 2 months which I guess is the magical age for maturity. The front desk clerk was very rude however while upholding the policy. Perhaps some conflict resolution skills should be taught because to assume & say out loud that the reason is they were just going to party, drink, and wreck things was completely unacceptable and prejudice. They drove 6 hours to get there and this agent doesn't know anything about what kind of boys they are so why be so rude about it? Even to me when I called in to ask about it. The policy was never debated but cancellation policy was in debate. The hotel is the one that canceled the reservation. The guest showed up to check in and the hotel would not allow or give a refund. The hotel said no because they uphold their cancellation policy but the policy says, if a GUEST changes or cancels then no refund will be given. The guest DID NOT cancel or change the booking in this case and the hotel should not have stolen 4 nights of a booking fee to have the room sit empty.

Muy buen hotel.
Overall good. Excellent location. I suggest putting a mosquito net on the balcony to ventilate the room, because it smells like other people's moods and if you want to open the window, flies come in. The room was very hot. What I loved was the attention of the receptionists, especially the lady who speaks Spanish, she was very kind and helpful.

I consistently select this hotel specifically for its in-room Jacuzzi amenity, which provides an ideal opportunity for private relaxation. It serves as the perfect escape from daily routines. I would like to express my appreciation to Tommy, the office manager, for his courteous and efficient assistance. While I regret not obtaining the name of the staff member who diligently attempted to repair the television in my room, I extend my gratitude for their efforts. In conclusion, I commend the entire staff for their contributions in ensuring a remarkable stay.
