Not a Cookie-Cutter Hotel
We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is behind the main walking area of Whistler so it’s quiet but close to everything. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are big (we had a king with small kitchenette), and comfortable and the hotel decor is funky. We looked down onto the pool & hot tub. We would absolutely book again.

It was a one night trip to Whistler and we chose The Summit Lodge because of the reviews. We were glad that we chose the hotel because reviews are right, clean facilities, nice pool and hot tub, friendly staff, easy check-in and check-out and what we loved most was when we were on the way to the pool, one of the cleaner staff saw us and approached to tell us if we want a bath robe for my three kids as they have actually kids robe and since we forgot to bring our slippers she even told us that we can ask a slippers from the lobby desk 😊, very friendly and helpful indeed. We loved their kitchenette in the room, we did not have to spend to eat out.

Friendly, unpretentious staff that wanted to always make sure they could do everything in their power to make your stay comfortable. Lovely touches like, infused drinking water in lobby, unique additions like stuffed monsters for purchase, rubber ducky for the bath tub, and hand-written notes made our stay very pleasant!

Interesting aesthetic, nice toiletries. The candy station one day was a treat, and the water in the lobby a nice touch. The bottle of wine was much appreciated! The parking lot’s spaces are a little tight and the lot is small.

Whistler in the fall with family
I chose the property because of its location and it didn't disappoint. It was close to everything-restaurants, breakfast place, coffee shop, grocery store, souvenir shops. The property was clean, hotel room was clean. Front desk was very helpful. Jovie, our room attendant was very helpful and did a great job keeping our room clean and replenished with supplies.

All the staff were super friendly and we had a great experience with our pets! The room had dog bowls, toys and towels waiting for them when we checked in.

The room was very comfortable, and the service quality was excellent. However, there were two minor issues. First, there was only one tea bag in the room, which suggests that the housekeeping staff might not have been very attentive. Second, when I checked out, I requested a receipt for the parking fee from the front desk, and they said it would be emailed to me, but I never received it. These are minor issues, but if they could be improved, it would make the experience perfect.
