If you read through the reviews before staying, I think you will get a pretty accurate idea of what to expect. Yes there is a murphy bed and it's a bit uncomfortable. The directions for parking and finding your key/unit # are a bit complex, but if you read the instructions carefully, it shouldn't be too hard. The description stated there was a hair dryer and I did not find one, maintenance brought one over the next day for me as promised. I wouldn't say there was much of a view from the unit, as the window is pretty high from the floor (maybe about 5 feet up). I found it to be quiet and it had everything one would need for eating in and preparing your own food. I couldn't figure out how to work the cable (I'm sure operator error), so I just watched netflix which was fine with me. The location is perfect and so close to everything. After a long day of horseback riding I was very sore and the jetted tub was a great remedy. I didn't notice any smells coming from the restaurant below or have any issues with bug bites (as some other reviewers mentioned). My belief is that Whistler is best enjoyed outside. If you want to stay in and rest a majority of your trip, this might not be the place for you. For the rate at which I paid (not to mention the free, secured parking), I am very happy with my stay.
