Stayed two nights and Bill (owner) could not do more to help. We have stayed at a range of places in Whitby over the years and the owner was top of the pops for kindness and consideration. Had a long chat one morning, which is appreciated when you understand how busy they must be and makes you feel valued. Room had lots of nice touches and in a good location. Would 100% recommend.

Great location
Fantastic location, close to the whalebones, short walk to the town and beach. Nice room, very comfortable bed. Great host and service, lovely breakfast with a good choice. Would stay again.

Classic seaside B&B! Walkable into Whitby. Room small but functional, comfortable for short stay. Very clean but a little old fashioned. Host amazing, nothing too much trouble and breakfast outstanding. A good experience, thank you Bill.

The most important thing, that matters to me, is the welcome you received when walking through the door for the first time, and you know what, it was great, it's just like meeting up with a old friend, nothing was too much trouble, even breakfast was tailored to your person taste, the room had everything we needed and quite a few little extras, this was our first visit, but it's not going to be the last, a,marvellous hotel and a really very special host,

Nice friendly staff we had attic room very spacious and comfortable bed with an excellent breakfast with both cereals and a hearty cooked breakfast and the owner was just so helpful, the Accommodation is at the top end so a walk down hill to most of what Whitby has to offer but a few local pubs not very far from the accommodation and I'll definitely be stopping again when I plan to visit Whitby again 👌

The attic room is on the fourth floor but the owner was very helpful with carrying our case up to our room. Great breakfast, nice coffee and tea. Very friendly owner.

What a great place to stay, our host was superb and couldnt do enough for us. The room was clean and tidy with an ensuite. Breakfast had ample choices for those who have different tastes, was fresh and cooked to perfection. The location was ideal for us and a 10 minute walk to the harbour, of note there is a hill to climb for those not able to get around as well. Would definitely stay again.
