Family owned hotel. Gorgeous beaches. Staff so friendly with us and with each other. 5 minute walk to lovely restaurants if you fancy a change from the hotel dining. 15-20 minutes to cafes, and other shopping. Plus the floating bridge. Budget car rental in the hotel and if you decide to explore further. Totally recommend.

The resort in its self was good, but costumer service not so much. It’ a good quiet place for family to relax and enjoy the ocean. No kind of entertainment at night and the food wasn’t good!

This was my wife’s and my first time in Curacao. Avila made it a wonderful experience due to its amenities, location, and staff. Property had two private beaches with plenty of chairs. The area was well maintained. Food was above average for resort food, but down the street there is 4-5 restaurants and the hotel is only 10 minute walk from downtown. What made the property stand out was the attention and friendliness of the staff.
