You'll feel like you've entered the Northwoods when you pull down the drive to our quaint log cabin tucked under towering pines. Play at the lake all day, explore the Geneva Lake area, and then come home to cook gourmet feasts, dine alfresco, and take in nights illuminated by crackling fires, fireflies and a million stars.

This charming log cabin is flooded with natural light, good vibes, and a warm, welcoming personality. There are two bedrooms - one main floor with a queen bed, and one in loft bedroom with a queen bed and full bed. The kitchen and main floor open up to an expansive deck sheltered by the woods. The two-story great room is equipped with a large smart TV with cable, a roaring fireplace and plenty of space. The front of the chalet opens up to another deck overlooking the tall pines and fire pit.

Imagine waking up from a peaceful sleep, to brew some coffee, and head out to the deck. Inhale a deep breath of the clean air, listen to the cheerful morning birds, and contemplate how you will seize the day. The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking essentials, a Keurig single brewer and drip coffee pot. Deck includes a propane grill and propane fire table.

Whip up a great meal in the fully equipped kitchen or dine out at any of the area's notorious restaurants just a few minutes away. After dinner, settle for S' mores for dessert by the firepit. Stargazers will love the dark skies and be able to spot every constellation.

Go for a trek on the hiking trails in the area, the 22-mile lakefront trail or Kishwauketoe Nature Conservancy just down the road.

Professionally cleaned every time after guests stay. UPDATE ON COVID-19 VIRUS: We are taking extra precautions with cleaning at The Bay Chalet. Our expert team of cleaners is sterilizing everything after each visit - from doorknobs, light switches and ALL bedding.

Dogs are allowed upon request. Pet fee is $35 per pet per stay. Dogs must be housebroken and cleaned up after in the yard.

Amazing cabin in the woods
Fantastic! Extremely clean. Had everything...cooking utensils, indoor and outdoor games, beautiful outdoor sitting areas. Very close to Lake Geneva which is a really fun town. Enjoyed a brewery, pizza, boat ride to Black Point and a walk around Lake Geneva. Holly is an excellent host and responds quickly. Would definitely recommend this property.

Cozy Cabin Near Lake Geneva
We absolutely loved our stay at the Bay Chalet in July. It is clean, cozy, comfortable, and perfect for a getaway for our family of 5 plus dog. We had no problems and look forward to staying again soon! Great property and communicative owners.

The home is very nice and comfortable but…… We ran out of towels by day 2 and there isn’t a washer and dryer at the house and spending vacation time in a laundry mat is the deal breaker. Very nice place to stay for one or two nights!

Great stay!
We visited over Thanksgiving. We loved the location and the fact we felt in the woods while being close to everything. So charming as it was already decorated for the Holidays. The fireplace made it even that more cozy.The cabin was well stocked with everything we needed. We appreciated the outdoor games - Bags - room for our dog and plenty of space to spread out. We look forward to visiting again soon!

Great “Up North” Feel
Loved the fireplace and the King-sized bed. Our family enjoyed celebrating Thanksgiving together here and the owner even decorated the house ahead of time for Christmas for us! I also appreciated being able to have our dog with us. Plan to stay here again in the near future.

The perfect holiday season getaway
What a wonderful property! When my husband and I walked in we were delighted to see all the holiday decor throughout the cabin, it really put us in a festive mood for the week! And the hot chocolate bar?! I was like a kid every night looking forward to my cup of cocoa. Also, the bed was so comfortable. Not always the case in rentals so that was also a great surprise. We brought along our dog who loved laying by the wood fire place after we took her for a long walk at the prairie path. One thing to note for future renters is that the fenced backyard is not accessible from the inside of the house. That may have been on me not reading the description thoroughly enough, but the grassy front yard is secluded enough that we could let her out in the morning without worry. Thank you again for hosting us, we're already planning a return trip!

My daughter, her friend and her mom and I stayed for Country Thunder. Nice quiet location. So close to the lake and downtown Lake Geneva. Loved the nice front yard to play bags and the deck off the back was great for breakfast. Would stay here again!

Perfection! House, host and location! All are fabulous. Couldn't have asked for a better stay. House is so well planned out, great places to be inside and out. Inside is wonderful kitchen then dining and open living. Outside has great front yard/fire pit and back is deck/grill/dining. Hard to decide where you want to be. Holly the Host is amazing. So helpful and kind. And location, we just loved. If you are looking for a great booking for your vacation, ththis is it! Thanks Holly. We will for sure be back

Great spot and better than we ever expected
The place felt like out of a story. Very nicely kept and lots of uniqueness and attention to detail. Balcony was cool to grill out on and overlook the nature in the back. Fenced in dog yard was perfect for the dog and the fire pit and chairs were nice to make s’mores and enjoy cocktails out by. Will be back.

The cabin was exactly what we needed for us and our 2 dogs! There was an unexpected hiccup at the front end, but Holly resolved the issue immediately and she was wonderful to work with - we wouldn't hesitate to stay again!

Great stay!
My husband and I had a great long-weekend getaway in Lake Geneva. The house was perfect. Well-kept, quiet and set back from the main roads. A short drive or walk to the beach and just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Lake Geneva. Great place for a relaxing get away with the family (pets included!)

My group and I had a great time at the property for a getaway weekend for graduation and Country Thunder! The house was very clean and well-kept. It was put away back in the woods which was great for privacy and a quiet night. Great location just outside of downtown Lake Geneva. Would definitely stay here again!

Close to lake
This was the perfect cabin for our group of 5 adults and dog. Great large yard with fire pit, back deck overlooks wooded ravine, and plenty of parking for multiple cars. Getting the 21’ boat in & out was a bit challenging due to the long drive, but Holly allowed us to park it at the tiny house lot, which helped. Size & layout of the cabin was good, & furniture is comfortable. Upstairs mattresses could be replaced, but not horrible. I recommend bringing some extra towels: bath, hand & dish, if you go through a lot, as there is one per person & no washer. Probably fine for weekend stays. The marina is just down the hill. This was our first trip to Geneva, and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Overall I think it was an excellent place to stay. There’s plenty of room for three adults and two babies. The beds were comfortable. We could not figure out the lighting in the kitchen by remote so it was a little dark. The yard was great!
