Come use our kayaks, tubes and other river toys. Grill a juicy steak on the grilling porch and sit in the hot tub. Visit a nearby winery, shop in our charming downtown square. Go see the olive growers, the glass blowers or go zip lining.
Laura's Lodge is five miles to Market Days, which is held the first Saturday of every month. Three and a half miles to the downtown square. We have 300' of private waterfront on the Blanco River, and 75 feet is for Laura's guests exclusively. It has a new patio for Laura's guests only and next to a new ramp we created so the Ramsay's and their guests can easily get the toys in and out of the river with the kayaks.
This home has been elevated above the new flood plain for Wimberley. Hardwood floors, fully equipped kitchen, soft water and filtering system for drinking. Nice linens. Full-size washer and dryer. TVs. Wifi. Come relax. It doesn't get much better than this!
This house sleeps eight comfortably in four queen size beds in four separate bedrooms. There is a limit of six vehicles unless you ask the hosts. There is a strict 12-person minimum spending the night and that means you'll be responsible for bringing your own blowups and linens for the blowups. We provide all linens for our four queen size beds. We provide 12 towels and washcloths and guests have a full size washer and dryer.
Let's discuss dogs: We do allow dogs but no aggressive breeds. $50 per pet. Limit 2. Pet owners are responsible for their animals at all times. Pets must also be on a leash at all times when outdoors. Heavy shedders, please sweep and vacuum after your pets. If the dog that is brought is misrepresented as not being one of these prohibited dogs, the security deposit may be forfeited. They must be kept off the furniture and the beds. Please use dog gate that is provided to keep them out of the loft area.
We have a charcoal grill available for guests' use; however, the guest is to provide their own charcoal and lighter.
THIS HOME IS NOT WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE. NO DIVING IN THE RIVER, PLEASE!
Note: Please be careful with our river key. Our Homeowners Association charges us for key replacement, and it's a huge hassle. No more than 10 people are allowed in our neighborhood parks. The key for our coveted river parks is in the back of the book on the property, and the housekeeper checks for this when you leave. Thanks so much.
Thank you for your consideration. It's a privilege to host you.
Sincerely,
Cynthia and Charles Ramsay
