River Run is nestled on 2 private acres with direct views and access to the Blanco River in the backyard. The home has been thoughtfully remodeled from top to bottom with luxurious finishes and decor as an adults only oasis. Enjoy a short half-mile walk into downtown Wimberley where you can spend your afternoon exploring shops and restaurants or take some time to relax and sample some wine while listening to live music.
When you enter this split level home you will head down a few stairs to enter an open layout which encompasses the great room, dining, and kitchen spaces. The bedrooms and bathrooms are located on the top floor. The first room offers two double beds, a flat screen TV and large picture windows surrounded by nature. Right down the hall is a half bathroom followed by a full bathroom and the master suite. The master suite is equipped with a king size bed, flat screen TV, and large picture windows facing the Blanco River. There is a bonus seating area with futon off the master bedroom. All bedrooms have both pulldown shades and curtains and closets.
This property has several outdoor seating areas both covered and uncovered. Directly outside of the kitchen is a covered patio seating area with ceiling fan and surrounded by cafe lights. The whole house sound system extends to the covered patio. From the patio you can head down the property to an open air seating platform over looking the river. Both the covered patio and open air space are excellent places to observe the local deer feeding (deer feed provided). If you continue towards the river from the open air seating area you'll come across the properties large fire pit, the perfect gathering place to relax and watch the river go by. A short walk from the fireplace are two sets of stairs with two separate easy access points into the river.

This property is the best of both worlds as it offers both a private verdant sanctuary and a location that can't be beat. You'll have plenty of room to breath on this two acre oasis with your own exclusive Blanco River access. Or, if you want to explore, the shops, restaurants, and tasting rooms of downtown Wimberley you're just a few minutes away by foot and even less by auto.
You can take a short walk or drive to the nearby Wimberley town square. In the teen square you will find many shops and restaurants. You will need transportation if you choose to venture outside of the town square to one of the many wineries/breweries. Uber and Lyft are not generally available in the area but we can help you coordinate a limo van or other transportation for a day outing with enough advanced notice. If you are interested in transportation services please contact us directly and with as much notice as possible to help us accommodate your request.
All guests will be required to provide a valid credit card to be placed on file during their stay. In lieu of charging a damage deposit, a temporary hold will be placed on a credit card in the amount of $250 upon arrival for incidentals.
This hold will automatically be released 7 days after your departure unless damages, excessive cleaning, or a violation of the house rules are discovered upon inspection.
Please note once we release the hold, it is dependent upon your financial institution upon your financial institution regarding how long it takes for for the release of funds to process. If you choose to provide a debit card for this hold, please make sure you plan accordingly.
