Sadly we didn’t sleep well as noise carried through the corridors. Would have preferred two pillows. Setting of hotel, parking and staff were good but broken night’s sleep was not good.

In general the stay was fine, but we ordered food in the bar for an evening meal and the pie served was completely burnt inside which was very poor. We sent it back and it was replaced but this should not happen in such a hotel.

2 nights for 1 night without hot water for showers. However, they offered to move us with an upgrade, which we declined, a partial eefund was given eithout us asking. Very attentive and helpful staff that help our coeliac ( gluten free) son eat without any issues. Lovely surrounding and spa very good.

Great Luxury Hotel for Dogs
Wonderful stay, the hotel is in beautiful grounds and all the staff are amazingly friendly, professional and courteous. The rooms were a great size with all the normal Amenities. Whilst it was all clean, I would say that the bathroom required a deep clean, but that would be picky. The dog loved the grounds as well, he had a great time.

Didn’t have the right number of towels for people in one room, in the 2nd room no complimentary drinks. Both from didn’t have hot water for half the stay..didn’t know when it was going to be fixed…left before it was. Bit pool and spa facilities and room size was ample.

Nice check in and checkout but unfortunately everything else was let down by service or lack of it should I say. The so called restaurant and in particular breakfast was one of the worst experiences. I will not list them. It was unclean, dysfunctional and totally understaffed by people who had t a clue about hospitality and service. If I could give it a big fat zero I would, sorry

Generally the hotel was lovely, majority of staff were great. The cleaner of the room was pretty poor though, glasses used for wine ( complimentary from hotel , nice touch ) were still there there three days later ! Tissue box in bathroom was empty, I took it out and stood it on container to show it was empty, it was thrown away but not replaced with new one ! Shame because everything else including very nice breakfast was excellent.

As always a lovely place to stay in. Front desk staff were excellent, friendly and efficient. Room a delight, clean and airy. Food service good although only 2 staff on bar meant it was a bit slow in the early evening. Definitely return though as in an ideal situation for me.

Short stay
The hotel was in a beautiful setting with a lovely pool area but the service from staff left a lot to be desired. We booked into the restaurant for our evening meal at 9pm (the restaurant was serving till 9.30pm). We had 2 courses and the food was delicious but by 9.25 our waitress had disappeared after sitting there for quite a while we got up to leave with this the waitress came from behind the back and approached us asking if we wanted to see the desert menu. On our 2nd day when the housekeeping staff came to service the room we thought at first we had been missed because the bed was not made but on closer examination noticed that the tea tray had been replenished so they had been in but not done a very good job. Breakfasts were very good a lot of choice.
