My stay in Winnemucca.

OK to use the word casino is very generous. Yes, there is some gaming there. But think of it as more a a casino attached to a laundry room. The staff were absolutely fantastic. Honestly, from check-in to the restaurant and check out, the staff were amazing. The food at the restaurant was surprisingly good. The room was dated. I mean it’s nothing fancy you would definitely get a nicer feeling room at the Holiday Inn, but it was clean. They had no weird smell. Now the pool was a trip. Just a simple pool outdoors, but the people that it attracts is like something I’ve never seen. Absolutely wild. Pretty sure everyone that showed up there had dirt bikes, Pit bulls, About a 430 credit score. Just sitting there, ripping darts in the hot tub around other peoples kids. Definitely Major people watching. Like it was fantastic. Don’t think I would ever stay there again if I had a choice. Also never really felt unsafe, but I spent most of my 20s on the streets of Baghdad. So I really don’t feel unsafe anywhere. They need to decide what they wanna do, Do they want to be a family hotel casino? Regular Well, kept Hotel casino, Or do they want to be the white trash I can’t afford Reno destination?

Nice stay….

We were just passing through for one night. The room was adequate. Don’t bother with the restaurant. The service was extremely slow. To order a drink took 15 minutes then about 10 more minutes to get them. No water was offered. Ordered a SW salad w./chicken. The chicken was extremely salty and they forgot the black beans/corn. After driving all day, we didn’t care to complain. We just ate it, paid the bill and went upstairs to go to sleep.

Comfortable Pet Rooms

We had a pet friendly room that was situated away from the casino so it was nice and quiet. Room was super comfy. Good night's rest after a long day of travel. Restaurant was pretty and food was great.

Stayed for one night in the family suite. Overall it was a good experience. The floors and carpets could be more clean. The property is showing the age. There are 4 Tesla destination charger so that was good. No elevator to 2nd floor but the stairs were not that bad.

Good stay!

Very friendly staff, with a great restaurant on site. We were just passing through on our way home and Winnemucca was our halfway point. Worked out very well. The only downside was that the hotel does not have an elevator. Since we had a long road trip we had huge bags and had to carry them up to our room on the second floor.
