Property is older, but well kept. Rooms are a little tired and dark. Older facilities always seem to have poor lighting. Surprised to see CFL bulbs instead of LEDs. Restaurant was fine and staff was competent.

Our experience was postive and would boon again. The pool area was great but if you get a poolside room, be prepared to hear the pool if its busy. Breakfast was good, the lady cooking was very friendly. Bar/grill was also good, just a long wait for food on a friday (which we understand, we just had an 8 month old with us that didnt understand) overall, rooms and interior were clean and well maintained...outside looked like it needed a little love tho

The place is very outdated. My room smelled horrible. Like smoke. My window was a view of the air conditioning units on the roof. The air would not stay on and it was terribly hot. I should have splurged and paid more for a nicer hotel.

It certainly isn’t the Ritz, but it’s pretty fantastic nonetheless. Clean, super friendly staff, fantastic breakfast, pool and hot tub were great. First floor has some rooms with patio seating- ours did and it made it easier to load the car. It’s located in a convenient area of Winona too. And of course, you can’t get more midwestern than a bar attached to the hotel and hotel pool, let alone the fact that it’s named Brewski’s! We drove from Green Bay for an impromptu trip (2 adults, 7 yr old and 4 yr old) and were pleased. We would definitely return… and I honestly hope we do!
