Very good Hotel with excellent staff, we had room 6 which was really nice except outside at 8am in the morning it became a noisy building site. The workers obviously hated the job in hand and wanted us to do the same. This was in no way the fault of the Hotel in fact the Hotel Manager told us that she had complained on several occasions previously to observe times and at least start at 9am. We would still happily stay there again but would ask to be accommodated in the main building if possible. The Hotel should be asking for a reduction in their business rates until this job has been completed as it is impacting on their business.

This hotel was wonderful. The pub attached was perfect and the food was delicious! All staff was very helpful and friendly. I am a wheelchair user and booked a disability room. It was PERFECT! I highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent overnight stay
The room was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated with a good shower and toileteries. Very good breakfast and excellent location, right opposite the the station. But most of all it was the staff that made it such a nice stay - they were all friendly and helpful and the check in and check out were done very efficiently

Perfect for attending local wedding
Fresh rooms associated with a big pub next to the train station. Good breakfast. Rooms were quiet even when the pub was busy on a late Friday afternoon. Would stay again but room was perhaps a little stuffy on a warmuggy evening.
