Unlike other upscale hotels in China, patrons were not required to take showers or wear caps in the pool area. Some were soaking with their T-shirts and skirts/pants on.
I was not sure whether it was a natural hot spring as advertised. There was no signs stating the kinds or concentration of minerals in any one of the pools, I also wondered why herbs needed to be put into some of the pools if the Facility was bestowed with natural spring water.
Cell phone use was allowed. Some used it to play movies while soaking in the water, some talked or texted and some took pictures even inside the changing room. Spitting could be heard frequently in the outdoor hot spring area, it’s not a big surprise to find out that one of the spitters was their on-site staff.
Worst of all was the light and noise pollution. The entire area was lit up with bright multiple-color flashing lights, we were like being placed in a disco or fun fair.
We chose this Hotel only because of the Hot Spring but it was a total disappointment. The indoor swimming pool was temporarily closed, there was no massage service either.
