One of the best in Fiji!
The hotel exceeded all our expectations. The staff are not just friendly, but they are also very professional and efficient. The room was spacious and clean, and very quiet at night. The hotel grounds were well maintained. The food was excellent; their buffet dinner was one of the best quality we’ve ever had. We look forward to our next visit!

Had an excellent short (5 day) escape here. As we were a couple, the resort suggested we pay to upgrade to the adults-only Reef Wìng. This was a great idea, good room, beautiful view, quiet. It has its own lobby, lovely staff. Good snorkelling, many other activities, huge grounds. Many restaurants, breakfast quite good, but other food not great. Good options outside the resort, easy to get a taxi. Would go back

The Shangri-La is not as serene as the pictures make out, so I would recommend asking for a quiet room, rather than the first option they gave us which was directly over the bar. Plenty of loud drunk Australians meant we asked to move room. Other than that, the stay was very enjoyable and the staff were SUPER friendly and very sweet. Do ensure if you're travelling without children as we were, that you book into the Reef Wing which is adult only, trust me you'll regret it otherwise. Likewise if you have children, then the rest of the resort is made for you. Lovely health club, beautiful spa and spectacular grounds. Enjoyable stay!!

A great location with a variety of facilities, activities and wonderful snorking in the lagood if you went out 200 meters or so. Proximity of pool to beach/lagoon swimming was very nice. Our Ocean View Delux King room had a fantastic view over the ocean and glorious sunsets. Systems seemed to let down the service a bit, with ordering and delivery issues/delays sometimes with a-la-carte dining. Difficulties in coping with larger group dining orders (eg 19 people).

We came here on a family holiday and we left disappointed . The service at all times was slow and there was no urgency by staff for anything. We had to wait hours for someone to come and change the batteries for the safe when we first arrived, and we couldn’t enjoy the resort because we had to wait for someone to attend. Every-time we had an order for drinks or food we had to follow up and it was incorrect at times. The kiosk by the pool didn’t open till 12pm which made it hard to get any drinks or food considering how hot it was and had kids to cater for. The orders took a long time to come out and we had to follow up on every occasion. The highlight was the buffet breakfast and that was the only positive thing I could say about the meal. The other options were very average and over priced for what they were. We thought we were getting a 5star experience but was more like a 2.5. I wouldn’t be coming back or recommending it to anyone.
