Though the property was architecturally beautiful, the service failed dismally. On checkin had to find a trolley and get our luggage to our room. Saw an elderly couple one with a walking frame doing the same. Restaurant menu was uninspiring and confusing, staff repeatedly missed elements of our orders- milk and sugar for coffee, a drink from room service order. Hot breakfast was almost cold. No pool towels in our room( they were meant to be in room) no pool towels by the pool, requested cutlery for our room which was forgotten then we had to go to get it, staff wiping multiple tables with the one filthy cloth without rinsing in between tables. Fire doors wedged open, cobwebs everywhere in outside of building, dirty windows. The hotel obviously is seriously struggling with staff and the staff they have are lacking in training. Unfortunately it's poor reputation is well known in Yarrawonga and locals have endless stories about shortfalls. Sorry Sebel/ you just didn't do it.
