Nice for an overnight stay
We had to travel for a family emergency and were unsure of the destination which was updated at 3.30 pm as Sydney, travelling from sourh of Melbourne. Hopped online and found this place in Yass available which fit in with our daily drive limit. Rang to advise we would arrive between 8.30 and 9pm after reception hours and a key was arranged. 12.5 hr drive and 1,000 odd km we arrived to our room, heater was on, electric blankets on, parking outside room. We only needed a bed for the night so it fit the bill. Not 5 star, and I usually prefer a king bed but the bed sufficed. Rain all night continued as it had all day which was a little loud through srain pipes and the fellow in the adjacent room was cutting wood all night (walls perhaps a bit lacking in sound proofing) Morning shower before early departure. Good water pressure and heat, shower curtain a little annoying and old school. For the price, it was fine for 1 night and we really appreciated the staff being receptive to our needs at such short notice and a place to rest after a long day.

We organised for late check in the day prior and there was no problems at all. Room was comfortable and fit our family perfect. Was convenient stop for us and had everything we needed for the night!

At 10am on the dot, as I stood at the door of my room with my belongings, a woman in her 50s (presumably the proprietor) pounded on the door. I refused to give her the satisfaction of opening straight away so I gave it at least a minute. Was surprised to find her still standing there. "Are you leaving?" "Um well I'm standing here with my bags.." "Right well it's 10 O clock." "And?" Honestly, you would think a 5 minute grace period to exit your extremely modest accommodation wouldn't be out of the question (especially after going through a basic self service check in, in the first place). You know what? Bring on the robots and AI to run hotels. They'd do a better job than this lot.

Great place to stay in our way to Melbourne. Clean, roomy, comfortable beds & pillows, good ammenities in the room for preparing our own breakfast etc in the morning. Nice staff

Staff were very friendly and offered me a down stairs unit but informed me of some damage. I accepted this offer as I did not want upstairs . On the whole it was comfortable but definitely needs some work
