A place we booked twice as the location had a lot of food options and was close to the train station. The rooms are also fairly large so its easy to fit in two people in a room.

Great area, very convenient!! Room was modern and comfortable! The staff were so kind and helpful!! The hotel was very quiet too. It has all the amenities you need plus a robe & slippers!! So close to major shopping and dining areas. 3 min to the train station!

My usual Bashamichi hotel
In the past few years I've spent a lot of time in the area near Kannai and Bashamichi stations. The Richmond Hotel Yokohama Bashamichi is an excellent choice. A professional and helpful staff. A very convenient location including right next to the Bashamichi station, near many restaurants, and interesting locations including an Italian mini-market. Very good WiFi with good upload and download speeds, even though I usually bring my own data service for work. A very nice and strong shower. Very good restroom in general including a Toto washlet. A good office chair, which can be rare in Japanese hotels. Comfortable bed even if a bit on the smaller side. Overall, a professional and helpful staff, great location, and great price. There used to be a Tully's coffee in the first floor but now it's a Royal's Cafe＆Shop (of Royal Host). They're both great choices for a morning coffee or breakfast.
