Church View is a beautifully presented spacious apartment spread out over two floors just a 20-minute walk from York’s historic centre. The property has recently been refurbished to a very high standard and offers a warm welcome to friends and family looking to enjoy this most beautiful of cities.

The property offers accommodation over the first and second floors and open plan living with a stunning kitchen. With a host of modern appliances, the chef in the group will be delighted to rustle up some home cooked food here. The dining table comfortably seats eight and the deep filled sofas are ideally placed for a social evening in. Retire in the evening to one of four bedrooms, three of which offer a Smart TV. On the first floor two king-size double rooms, one with an en-suite shower room and to the second floor two further doubles. These two rooms have sloping ceilings, exposed beams and Velux windows. Enter through Monk Bar, one of York’s historic gated entrances and you will soon find yourself in the main plaza in front of the majestic York Minster. The Jorvik Viking Centre, the National Railway Museum, York Chocolate Story, and York Castle Museum are also close by. When you get tired of wandering the cobbled streets take an hour to rest in one of York’s beautiful city centre parks; the Museum Gardens and Rowntree Park sit alongside the River Ouse and will provide a quiet interlude to your city break. For those who enjoy heights why not take a bird’s eye view of medieval York from the top of York Minster or traverse the narrow staircases inside Clifford’s Tower. Spend a day at York Races, walk the city walls, shop for hours, enjoy the many attractions, take a boat ride along the river or enjoy the vibrant night lift.
