Good location for visiting city.

Pros: location, friendly staff.
Location: 15 mins walk to center of York, good restaurants nearby. Valentinos excellent Italian restaurant, Hotel du Vin for a more upmarket meal.
Very pleasant 2 day break to visit York, should have stayed for 3, so much to see. Nice hotel, good location, friendly helpful staff, good value for money. Would stay again if going to York.

Hôtel accueillant.

Très agréable petit hôtel entouré d'un joli jardinet fleuri avec meubles de jardin en dehors du centre ville mais qu'on rejoint à pied en 10 minutes. Accès facile et rapide depuis la gare.Le personnel est aux petits soins. Chambre sans prétention mais confortable. Le petit déjeuner n'est pas sous forme de buffet à part les céréales mais on nous apporte à la table ce qu'on désire. Tout est fait pour qu'on se sente bien : gentillesse, petit salon cosy, terrasse.
