Excellent hotel/facilities. Awful payment process

When we arrived we found road and pavement outside B&B to be completely dug up. However excellent room and facilities once inside. On checkout they would not except the deposit processed by ebookers and confiscated our bags until we paid the deposit again in cash. Awful experience which tainted the whole stay. Have to sort out refund from ebookers on my return home. Will also expect compensation for this mix up between ebookers and the B&B, should not have become my problem.
