We traveled from United States to here on our honeymoon. We booked hotel on our own. When we inquired if they had any upgrades/complimentary wine, etc. bc we were celebrating our honeymoon, the front desk lady rudely asked “well did you tell your travel agent?” We did not use a travel agent.
By the way, another other property on our visits either comped us wine or other treats to celebrate our honeymoon.
I lost a scarf on property in the morning and had to ask if they could locate it. They seemed to be lackluster in wanting to help.
We had dinner in main dining area however when I asked for a to go container for my left overs, I was told that was not allowed. However they offer a takeaway service for breakfast. Mind you, there is a supermarket in the area and our room had a mini fridge- what gives??
This is a cluster of properties owned by the same company. We dined at one of the restaurants. We had to seek out our server to order another round of drinks. We couldn’t find them so we asked another attendant who completely waked away from us although she heard us. She genuinely seemed not to care. We visited 3 other cities in Australia but I have to say this leg of our trip was my least favorite. The best thing here was seeing Uluru in person and doing 2 separate excursions: the sunrise excursion at Uluru, and the sunset excursion The Sounds of Silence (which I highly recommend).
