Leave busy Lake Como behind and wind into the Val Sanagra nature reserve, lying just above Menaggio and one of the lake’s best-kept secrets. Step back in time and ride by evocative stone houses and old water mills dotted along the banks of a gentle mountain stream.

Ride uphill into the mountains, passing historic villages and grassy green fields, and take in the peace and quiet. Explore charming, authentic village squares untouched by mass tourism.

Continue on to a shady downhill with stunning views including sections of an old Medieval road and be guided onto the shores of Lake Lugano. Enjoy a shady cycle to the third lake, Lake Piano, and ride home along the old railway line that is now a pretty cycle path.

We absolutely loved our e-bike tour! It was so much fun weaving in and out of ancient towns and gasping at the unbelievable vistas. The assisted pedaling made it so easy - was not out of breath once! And you definitely make some steep climbs to get to the top, but it’s easy with the electric bike. The midway stop for some espresso and a snack was lovely and hit the spot. We loved our guide and his wife Emily was so sweet and helped us with all the logistics. Highly recommend!

This was the highlight of our 12 day trip to Italy. The views were amazing! Luigi was so nice, and very respectful to the local villagers that we visited. He showed us churches and villages that we would have never found on our own. The bikes were brand new, easy to ride, and I felt very safe enjoying the beautiful scenery. Thank you!

It was an excellent bike tour. The tour guide was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. We explored the lakes other than como and the old small villages. It was a tour that isn’t the usual sights all tourists visit.

This was my favorite activity on all of Italy trip. I loved being in the little villages up in the mountains and the ebikes were a fantastic way to see all of this. The e bikes were in great shape and took the terrain very well, and our guide was fantastic and very personable. I would highly recommend this company and this activity!

This was a lot of fun! The ride was pretty easy most of the way with one long uphill climb but with the e-bike, it was no problem at all. Luigi was a great guide. I definitely recommend this tour if you're interested in seeing the area outside of the tourist hot spots.

One of the best activities of our trip . Scenary was absolutely breath taking . Our guide Luigi was terrific — so knowledgeable and friendly !! Offered to take pictures of us at various stops . Great E Bike ride .. lots of hills so we were happy we had an EBike Claire helped us navigate getting to our meeting point from Como and even reached out to the ferry for us . Perfect day !!
