Do NOT book unless this property goes through a complete renovation. The site on Expedia says the hotel is pet friendly. I paid more to stay on the top floor because my husband wanted a view. Upon checking in, the lady seemed really put out that she didn’t know we had a dog and said we’d need to stay on the ground floor. The boss ended up approving us to have the top floor anyway, but we then had to pay $27 more for a pet fee. Mind you, this hotel was about $30-40 more a night than all the surrounding places. The restaurant is shut down. We only had one decaf coffee in the room. My husband went down to get coffee and they said they only had decaf. Said it had a fireplace, but it is just an electric flickering thing that didn’t produce any heat whatsoever. They could have just had a picture on the wall. There were cracked tiles through the whole complex and filthy carpets throughout. There was also a ton of algae build up on the balcony door, furniture, and glass enclosure. I wish I could upload pictures. For Pros, since it’s an old building the suite was very spacious and the bed was comfortable. Location and view were also a positive.
