I was in town to volunteer in Black Mountain at Valley Strong Disaster relief and went further into Asheville for this stay. The hotel staff was pleasant and the room was gorgeous. It was a great stay and I would recommend this hotel for anyone coming to this area.

Great location for a downtown visit
Good stay, been here two times and is great location and price. The bartender was really nice and provided great service. If possible, avoid the rooms facing the freeway if you are a light sleeper. The noise of passing cars is noticeable even in high floors.

Great hotel - great value
Don't pass up this hotel! Even though it's not in the heart of downtown, it's close enough to walk everywhere. The rooms are spacious and clean. The bed is very comfortable. Some small things need attention though - the in-room coffee is the worst I've ever had. The towels are the opposite of soft and fluffy. The gym hasn't been re-stocked for towels or wipes in likely forever. If you just need a nice hotel with a great room, this is the hotel for you.
