The lobby was very hot when we checked in. The only person at the front desk was immersed in something very involved on her computer, never looked up, completely ignored me. There was possibly a customer at desk, she was one her phone and leaning on counter. Within 10 minutes another gentlemen showed up to check me in. He was great. I was surprised about the paper I had to sign about damage to room and leaving it dirty - both have a $250 fine. Our room had wallpaper peeling off the wall, part of a drapery had a hook broken or missing, bathroom in need of upgrade - I assume this hotel is going thru renovations and not all rooms have been addressed yet which really is why I mentioned having the $250 fine for damaging the room! Room was beyond stuffy when we checked in - I give the room air conditioner high marks because it did cool the room down pretty quickly - keeping the room so stuffy maybe aiding the wallpaper coming off the wall. Numerous children unsupervised in hallway were very noisy at night. We returned from a wedding about 10:30 and were surprised about the activity in the hall at the hour and lasting a while.
The room cleaning staff were very good. Took the suitcase stand back down and noticed we had three in our room and brought us more towels. Ice machine on 3rd floor does not work -had to go to 1st.
We spent little time in room, here for a wedding changed and went to event and then to bed.
For average hotel with regular parking lot surprised a fee to park!
