Tervetuloa Shanty Creek Treehouseen!

Sijaitsee upeassa Shanty Creek / Schuss-vuoren lomakeskuksessa, Treehouse sijaitsee erinomaisella paikalla hyödyntääkseen neljää vuodenaikaa Pohjois-Michiganin loistossa!  Istuu kovapuusta, Treehouse on vain muutaman minuutin päässä hiihto, altaat, golf, järvet ja erinomaiset ravintolat.  Tämä itävaltalainen inspiroitu chalet on juuri remontoitu kokonaan 3 mukavasti varustetulla makuuhuoneella, mukautetulla virkistyshuoneella ja kääreillä.  Avoin, ilmava ulkoasu ja treehouse näkymä metsään, se on täydellinen paikka levittää ja rentoutua perheen ja ystävien kanssa.  Olet oikeassa keskellä kaikkia mukavuuksia ja hauskoja kauneita Shanty Creek -alueita!

Kevyemmissä kuukausissa täällä on paljon tekemistä. Aja lapset pari minuuttia yli Lakeview-hotellin uimaan uimapaikan yläosassa sijaitsevassa ulkouima-altaassa (upea näköala Bellairen järvelle muutaman kilometrin päässä!)  Laita muutama reikä kuvankauniimpiin golfkenttiin.  Ota 15 minuutin ajomatka upealle Torch-järvelle.  Vaellus, pyöräily ja pelaaminen joillakin Michiganin kauneimmilla ja hyvin hoidetuilla poluilla.  Tai ehkä vain istua kannella aamukahvin kanssa; korkealla puissa, kuulet vain kuiskaavat lehtipuut ja satunnaista chickadeea. 

Kylmempiä kuukausia varten perheystävällinen Schuss-vuori (tai "Schussin kuningaskunta", kuten me sitä kutsumme) tarjoaa parasta hiihtoa ja lumilautailua.  Maastohiihto- ja lumikenkäilyreitit ovat muutaman minuutin päässä Treehousesta, samoin kuin polut, joilla voit ratsastaa Fat Mountain Bikesillä. Meillä on pääsy kahdelle sisäuima-altaalle ja kylpytynnyrit Schussin ja Summitin kyliin, myös vain minuutin ajomatka.  Kun päivä on tehty, käpertyä takan edessä hyvällä kirjalla ja hyvällä yhtiöllä, ja polttopuut toimitetaan maksutta. 

Treehouse nukkuu 8 + mukavasti ja tarjoaa täydellisen keittiön, kaksi täyttä kylpyhuonetta, suuret, mukavat makuuhuoneet ja tilava rec-huone, jossa on biljardipöytä.  Huoneessa on myös Wi-Fi, kaapeli-tv ja pesulapalvelut.

Bellaire-alue tarjoaa pääsyn satoihin nähtävyyksiin. Shanty Creekissä on neljä mestaruustason golfkenttää: Cedar River (Weiskopf), The Legend (Palmer), Schuss Mountain Course ja Summit Course. Lisäksi muut erinomaiset kurssit sijaitsevat kätevästi lähistöllä. Cozy Cabin in the Trees
I recently stayed at the Shanty Creek Treehouse in Michigan, and it was the perfect getaway for our group of nine. From the moment we arrived, the cabin felt like a true home away from home. The rustic charm was complemented by modern touches, making it both inviting and comfortable.One of the highlights was the vintage fireplace in the living room. It was the ideal spot to unwind after a day of exploring the area or playing in the snow. The warmth and ambiance it provided made the evenings feel extra special. We also loved the pool table in the game room — a great addition for some friendly competition and laughter. The space was big enough for all of us to enjoy without feeling cramped.The cabin comfortably accommodated nine people, with plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. The bedrooms were cozy and well-appointed, and we woke up to beautiful views of the surrounding forest.Schuss Mountain itself was peaceful and serene, offering a sense of seclusion, but still close enough to local attractions for easy day trips. Whether we were lounging by the fire, playing pool, or simply enjoying the quiet outdoors, every moment felt relaxing and rejuvenating.If you're looking for a cabin that combines comfort, warmth, and fun, this is the place. It's the ideal retreat for families or groups looking to escape and recharge in a stunning Michigan setting. Highly recommend!One word of caution the area is very hilly if there is snow you will need 4 wheel drive.

Anniversary Weekend
Overall, it was a fantastic trip. I thoroughly enjoyed the property and would definitely stay again. The mid-century modern design, and the actual fireplace in the living room is a unique feature. The living area is spacious, and the bedrooms are well-proportioned. However, I have a few suggestions for future renters. Firstly, it would be great to include a variety of pillows in the bedrooms to cater to different sleeping preferences. The current pillows are primarily designed for back sleepers and are quite flat and hard for side sleepers. Secondly, it would be helpful to provide shampoo, conditioner, and body wash dispensers in the showers, as none are currently available.

Amazing property!
The Treehouse is a fantastic space to gather! We were there for nearly a week and loved the location, the space itself, the patio and fire pit, and the pool table. Easy check-in and check-out and great communication from the hosts made this one a winner and we will definitely be back! The only this that could make this spot better is a drying rack and pad for dishes with some more kitchen linens! 10/10 would recommend!!

The Treehouse was a great place to stay for 2 couples and our sons. We love the Bellaire area and the house was in a very quiet setting. The house is well kept, everything worked. We enjoyed a few games of billiards and a chilly evening on the deck with a nice fire.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights in April. It was lovely - we loved the house/atmosphere. I am a clean freak and it was clean enough - not perfect, but clean enough that I was very comfortable. 😊 The decor and design of the place was great - cozy, restful, quiet. Great Set Up for Big Families
We had a great time staying at the tree house. We have 7 kids. The room with the bunkbeds has an extra trundle bed, so 5 of them could fit comfortably in one room. We had all of our meals at the cabin. The kitchen is set up well for cooking. Everyone enjoyed the tv /game room with the pool table. Finally, thanks to our host Joe for going the extra mile to make sure we could swim at the Lakeview hotel. He was very responsive whenever I texted a question. One tip - bring extra towels to swim. Lakeview hotel (which you have access to through the condo association) no longer provides towels at the pool itself. Thanks again!!!

Peaceful stay at the Tree House
The Tree house was exactly as described. It was extremely clean and felt so cozy and comfortable. We really enjoyed that the kitchen was open to the dining/living room. The view from the huge windows overlooking the deck was beautiful and peaceful. You truly felt you were up in the trees! The communication with our hosts before arriving was very clear and helpful. We didn’t need to reach out during our stay because everything was wonderful! We’d love to return perhaps in the fall when the leaves are all changing colors. 😊 Thanks for a great stay!

Beautiful ski cabin in the woods, right on the shanty creek property. Large enough for a big family, but cozy enough for a small group. Open floor plan with retro fireplace. Game room in lower level with pool table and old-school Atari!! Five minute drive to Schuss, Summit and Short's Brewery. We will be back next year.

This was the second time we stayed in this house. Only issue was a problem with the mini-split heaters but backup baseboard heaters did the job. Will stay there again.

The property and amenities were ok...
The house itself was decent and clean but was very poorly lit. Being there in the dark fall/winter months, any time I entered a room I tried to turn on more lights but there weren't any more to turn on. (Several of the lights would strobe so you'd have to keep them off). When I asked the owner about it, he said it was an old house and that is just the way it is. Since we were there around Thanksgiving. All of the activities at the resort were shut down, including one of the indoor pools. That was a bummer and I wish date ranges for activities would have been in the description for the property. Probably would not stay here again.

My husband and I had a very nice stay at this Bellaire chalet. It was exactly as described and as the pictures depicted. It was a central location for a trip to Traverse City one day and Boyne City another day which was especially beautiful with the fall colors. The house was comfortable and homey.

My childhood friends and I plan an annual girls trip each year, always picking something different somewhere in Michigan. We’re in our 30’s now and take this weekend very seriously. I’m not sure that we will pick a different location next year, we loved this beautiful cozy cabin so much! To begin, Joe is absolutely amazing. He is incredibly welcoming and has really ironed out every detail you would need to have an unforgettable trip. He is a great communicator and makes himself available should you need anything. Although we did not need to reach out to him, because everything was already so organized and well communicated, I am confident that had we needed to, he would be there. The cabin was perfect. It’s designed to actually feel like you’re in a Northern MI ski lodge but still offers beautiful modern amenities. Cleanliness was a 10/10 too, and with a house full of ladies, we would have noticed otherwise. The surrounding area has so much to offer! Cute shops, and a perfect downtown area. Restaurant choices were great too! If you want something quick like fast food, those options are there. However, I recommend taking advantage of all the other restaurants that are in the area. We ate at Shanty Creek Bar and Grill which was very small but very impressive. We also visited Shorts, and were so impressed. This truly was a great stay. We wish we would have booked for at least a day or two longer.
