We had a good experience with the property overall. The location was just a couple of blocks off Biloxi’s beach-front strip, which was both good and bad. It was good because we had come down for Mardi Gras and could walk to a couple of parades. It was bad because…we were in walking distance of a couple of Mardi Gras parades. I’m not so disingenuous as to down a place for a convenience I chose, but the location is also right next to a major on-ramp for I-110, with a traffic light to the ramp, so you tend to listen to other people’s car music a lot.
Other minor issues included some basic maintenance needed—numerous light bulbs that didn’t work, a smoke detector battery we replaced because our party arrived late at night and didn’t want to try to call anyone, as examples. There was a loose door knob in one of the bathrooms, and an over-the-toilet storage rack had pulled loose, leaving holes in the wall. The people before us had also left some trash in the bottom of the can in the kitchen. The place was well-equipped, and I do recommend it overall. Many of the issues are easily corrected, and it’s very convenient to interstates, casinos, the beach, the Ohr-O’keeffe Museum, and many other attractions.
