Our first time in Blue Ridge and it did not disappoint . This home was big enough for all our family with plenty of nooks to get some space to yourself when needed. The home is stocked with any utensil you could want in the kitchen. Nice to have a washer and dryer too.

This cabin was perfect for our family getaway! It was very clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated for the holidays. The location is great and it is just a short drive into town. I would definitely visit again!

Panoramic Mountain Views
This house is filled with windows so every direction you turn you can see beautiful mountains. Indoors the house was spacious for our family of 6 and it came stocked with tons of games, puzzles and kitchen appliances/gadgets/dishes. The outdoor spaces are filled with fun too! On each level there are rocking chairs, gliders tables and various games such as basketball, corn hole, a hot tub, fireplaces and tvs. The drive up to the house is quite steep but the driveway is flat and there is very little traffic on the road. Short drive to hiking, zip lining, and the city of Blue Ridge.

Beautiful home, well equipped
House and neighborhood..5 stars Vacasa ..1 Vacasa big on texting this and that, to you, but not at responding to messages on the app, call or texts replying to their texts. I enjoyed VRBO before the change to Vacasa they were always fast to respond. 1st go with Vacasa.. do not have much good to say. After they have the money, I felt ghosted. There were broken driveway light markers when we got there, and an electrical issue upstairs. No response.

Great Place
Making Memories was a great place for a family to stay. We enjoyed the on-site amenities for the day when the weather wasn’t great and the town of Blue Ridge is so close! We would definitely stay here again.

Overall good experience, however on arrival we had issue with dirty bedding, trash not emptied and outdoor fireplace not working. Also got charged 12.99 for Netflix. Bedding was exchanged for clean sheets and towels, trash got emptied and fireplace fixed during stay. Cabin is beautiful, views are beautiful. Could use more amenities like pool table, arcades games.

Family cabin stay
Cabin is beautiful and views were amazing, loved sitting out near fireplace first night we were there, rated 3 stars overall due to trash piled up outside upon checking in, notified property manager Sunday morning by text and they did a work ticket but trash was not picked up until repair man came out on Tuesday for hot tub and fireplace, they sent someone later that afternoon with a truck to pick up the trash. Also, vacuum in bedroom closet was full to the max of dog hair and hot tub was not clean and so unable to use until last night. After the first night unable to use the outdoor fireplace, service tech was great and tried fixing it 3 times but it kept turning off. No can opener in the cabin, but it did have a lot of other kitchen appliances. Only 6 towels and no kitchen towels so we purchased 6 large bath towels and 4 kitchen towels. Decor was fitting for a cabin, especially the dining table, enough to seat the family for big breakfasts and dinners. It was great that the 4 family dogs were able to come share the cabin with us. Thank you to the family for opening their doors to us.

Very beautiful home. Great mountain feel and views were beautiful.
Rental and response for two minor issues was very easy and efficient. Road into cabin precarious. Not for the faint of heart. But, you do get used to it! We would return to this home in future.

This property was beautiful, well stocked, and had the most amazing views! We could tell the owners put a lot of thought into this home. It had everything we needed. The only negative at all was that the outdoor fireplace did not work for us and we were really looking forward to using it.

Beautiful Labor Day Weekend Stay!
The house was SO beautiful. I have stayed at several rental properties in Blue Ridge and this one takes the cake as far as dog friendly properties go. I will definitely recommend this to other travellers. The views were amazing, and multiple living spaces made the cabin never feel crowded although we had a full house. We especially loved the outdoor sitting area and fireplace off of the kitchen!

Long weekend with family!
The house is really nice and we all had plenty of space to enjoy during our stay! The views are amazing! It was not advertised that the fireplaces (specifically1 outside) are not available between April-August. This would have been nice to know upfront as we were planning our stay and there is no firepit on property.

Wonderful Week
The house is a perfect family retreat. Open spaces allowed everyone to be together and there are also plenty of thoughtful seating areas on porches to rock in a chair or relax. It was clean and very well-appointed. We agreed the whole experience from booking to check out, including the home, was our best of the past few years! Property management was quick and courteous in solving the one small issue with Hot Tub.

Absolutely Amazing!
First cabin rental and family vacation in a very long time and I have to say it’s going to be hard to meet our expectations after staying at this property. We all had a fantastic time and Making Memories at this stunning Cabin in Blue Ridge will certainly have us coming back next year. From the cleanliness, wrap around porches, attention to detail in every inch of this cabin, it was beautiful!! . To top it off we had some of the most amazing mountain top views!! Thank you, am very happy with our stay!

Great Stay in Blue Ridge
The house was fantastic, very clean, and perfect for a family getaway to the mountains. It was cold and windy, so we didn't get to use the outdoor TV/Fireplace or hot tub, but the view is fantastic and overall a very cool cabin!
