Beautiful and peaceful with a wonderful view!
Beautiful and spacious garage apartment with an awesome large covered porch overlooking trees and pasture. The bonus views were the donkeys and horses! Trish is great at communication and a very gracious host. It was quiet and peaceful and the perfect place to get away and truly rest (which was our goal). The apartment is next door to the main house (detached garage) but they do not live there full time (they weren’t there the 3 days we were there). But even if they are, it’s still very private as they have large outdoor curtains on the porch, and there would still be a wide view. It is close to a main road but it was just very occasional road noise. It’s not constantly used. We were only 15 mins to Brenham which is where we came to visit, and the local Mexican food in Burton was incredibly good. We loved our stay and would definitely return!

Peaceful Small Town Stay
Charming, cozy accommodation right in the town of Burton. Everything needed in the kitchen and large bathroom. The king sized bed was very comfortable. Enjoyed lounging on the outside deck and viewing the animals in the pasture. Walk this historic town (railroad museum is great) and stop in the White Horse Tavern for some great music on the weekend.

Burton vrbo
My husband and I celebrated our 11th anniversary and his 67 birthday. We had a great time and our Vrbo was clean and spacious and beautiful!! Our host were fantastic!! She gave me some history on the 3 donkeys that have and the place was so quiet and relaxing. I highly recommend this place if you want peaceful tranquility and relaxation!!!

My friend and I loved our stay here! Very spacious, thoughtful, and comfortable space. Everything we needed and more was available–from coffee (and creamer!) to shampoo we forgot at home. It is a very quiet area with a peaceful view. We enjoyed our donkey neighbors even if they did give us a little surprise wake-up call ha! I highly recommend staying here, we'd love to come back.

My husband and I stayed here for an event in a nearby town. Our only complaint is we couldn’t stay longer! Everything was perfect. It was immaculately clean, perfectly decorated and the bed was SO comfortable. I wish we had longer to linger on the private back patio and take in the gorgeous scenery. We will definitely be back.

Our second opportunity to escape to this appointed room for two with all you need to do nothing and Or explore this fun area Fun all around you or just a good nap. I cannot say enough about our stay. It was the perfect location, with a peaceful porch overlooking a pasture with sweet little donkeys. It was close enough to go shop antiques but far enough to get away from all the action. I would highly recommend this place. Decorated beautifully and fully equipped. Host was very attentive.

Provence escape for one or two
Easy unintended late arrival was perfect for us. Able to be in ample comfort with unexpected over the top decor and full capabilities even ice cream in the freezer . Large room king bed and one wall kitchen with suite like bathroom just past the closet with separate toilet and walk in grand shower with a view Best bed I’ve slept in. Up over a garage so private with a side porch place seating and lounging and lunch with a pasture view. Did we say we loved the splendid decor? Grateful for this lucky wonderful find. Such a calming getaway!
We were looking for a place that was quiet and relaxing. This place was exactly it! The bed-oh my goodness- was AMAZING and sooooo comfy! The apartment was decorated so cute that I would catch myself just staring at all the pieces! We will definitely be back!
