Needs refurbishing
We had a problem with our sliding door to the balcony. They changed our room as a result. We didn't notice until we had unpacked so that was a bit of a hassle. Property definitely could use a refurbishing. Bed was comfortable and we were able to walk downtown which was great.

A little bit 'off the track' but the local bus is only a few minutes walk away. Apartment had everything you need. Supermarket is only a 5min stroll. Underground parking was a plus

Good property and convenient location but being on the main road does make it noisy at night specially because we had the room with the balcony opening onto Wellington Rd

The apartment was very clean and the bed very comfortable. Shower was excellent with plenty of hot water. I don't understand why there was a small step up into the bathroom, we stubbed our toes on it several times. It is a bit hard to pull out of the parking lot as it's a one way street and there's heavy traffic. It's close to the corner, so if you can'tget over a lane quickly you're taking a circuitous route to get where you want to go. Tjat is not a deal braker.,

Good size room, comfortable, nice view. Photo showed walk in shower but my room was shower over bath with clingy shower screen which I did not like. I only requested room to be serviced one day using the “please make up my room” sign on my door but the room did not get serviced which was disappointing.

The staff was friendly at Check In, but other than that the stay wasn’t good. I felt unsafe because my room was on the ground floor, there was a restaurant down there as well and there was no key check to go down to the rooms, which made me feel unsafe. Music was loud but stopped around 10 pm. Rooms are old but clean. Reception closes at 4 pm (and is only open when needed at the weekends) which is something to know especially if you want to store luggage.

Toilet was dirty when i checked in. Rubbish were not removed. Have double glass doors, i guess to help with noise but was still very noisy on a busy street. I could not sleep.

Sadly one of the worst hotels we have ever stayed in. It is in desperate need of some love, dirty walls, broken tiles and rust in the bathroom, carpet that is wrinkled, fridge with rust on the door, rusty room light that doesn’t work. The bed was okay. There is no reception staff on weekends and we couldn’t find staff when we had a big problem Saturday morning. There is a number to call and eventually a young girl appeared, she accompanied us to the basement where she saw our problem. Why you would want to inconvenience someone you have never met I don’t understand but a man in a huge Nissan Navara had parked us in, he had managed to get within three centimetres of the entire length of our car, his wheel turned into ours. We had parked where the manager Peter had indicated so we could charge our car, we had pulled hard up against a pole so we were wedged in. He on the other hand had at one and a half metres on passenger side where he had to exit and enter the car. The young girl knew him and got him down and he very gingerly moved the car. This experience completely ruined our stay, aside from the tired interior of the room to know that this man was there every night stressed us out to know end. So if you own a nice car don’t stay, if you want something that is not old and tired pay a little more and keep looking, I wish we had.

The decor is very dated and needs a refresh. The bathroom floor was not clean, nor was the carpet in the main living area of the apartment. The kitchen was clean and provided everything needed for self-catering. There are no USB ports for charging devices - modernisation required. The swimming pool was excellent!

They provided everything we needed. Just two each of mugs and glasses- 4 would have been good so we could save on wash water! Quiet apartment, but we left the door to the garden area open on Sunday night, and had to close it around 2am as there was a noisy party nearby! I’d stay here again.

Easy to find, convenient location, friendly easy check-in, elevator from carpark to level 2, clean spacious, comfortable room, large balcony, quality bedding, slept well. Kitchen equiped, No toaster allowed.
