My wife and I stopped on New Year's Day - were driving home from IL to CO and the ratings were enough to have us drive a bit off the highway. We were not disappointed! This is a very nice hotel. Much nicer than anything we've ever stayed in for this price. The staff was friendly and breakfast was delicious. We will definitely stay here again in the future and plan to spend at least a day in the area.

Exceptional stay, large rooms and bathroom. Very large walk-in shower. Building has been renovated from the historic woolen mill, but kept the charm and character of the original design. I loved how they worked in old photos, textiles, and equipment from the original shop.

It was a last minute stay. Visiting the Amana Colonies and due to inclement weather we had to make a fast decision and we saw Hotel Millwright. And we loved it! Fast check in. Beautiful layout. The room was spacious. Nice and quiet. Only downfall was it didn't mention a continental breakfast and with 2 young ones the menu in the cafe wasn't too kid friendly. We will definitely be visiting again in the near future (maybe next time no kiddos lol)

Lovely stay over Christmas Eve til the day after Christmas. Even though the shops were shut down, (and good going) it was such a good time. Clean, spacious room, beautiful grounds, and getting to shop on the 26th was more than enough. Dave at the front desk was personable and great to chat with. Love the Amana Colonies and Millwright was the best choice for our holiday stay.

A wonderful surprise
