Room 103 smelled like a damp and dirty locker room. The odor was so bad not even the can of Lysol I used helped. I would have asked for a different room when I first entered but it was late and we were ready for bed. It appeared that the smell grew worse as the night went on. The AC unit, when the compressor kicked on it sounded like a jet engine taking off ( this occurred every 20- 25 minutes and lasted 2-3 minutes each time it cam on). While attempting to watch the tv, the longer it was on, the darker the screen became making it very hard or enjoyable to watch. However the worst part came the next morning at 9:30 am. Housekeeping came into our room, without knocking or announcing herself. One party member was still in bed while the other was in the shower. We went to the front desk about this behavior and they replied they would call housekeeping staff and tell them to knock before entering.

Comfortable stay in Columbus!
My room was comfortable for the most part but there were some small issues. The smoke detector was missing from the ceiling with the wires just hanging down, the bathroom sink's tap was loose and moved when turning the water on and off, and the toilet didn't flush well.

Upon pulling down the covers to get into bed, we discovered a stain on the fitted sheet. Investigation of the stain showed the mattress underneath has something that resembled dried blood. Front desk advised that they were sold out and could not provide another room. At our request, they provided new sheets that we could put over the mess. Additionally, the shower had rust/dirt in the track the shower doors ran through. Horrible experience.
