Once you arrive in Corolla’s newest community, Corolla Bay, you'll know your “Naut in Kansas” anymore! From the well-thought-out floor plan to the luxury appointments and its short stroll to the beach; this lovely villa will be your home away from home year after year. This retreat has been newly updated with all new living room furniture with a pull-out sectional sofa on the third floor as well as new flooring and a pull-out sofa on the ground floor. There is also a brand new hot tub, refrigerator, washer/dryer, and smart TVs for your enjoyment.

Ground Level: Enter into the rec room which provides a foosball table, 42” HDTV with DVD, and a bistro table and chairs. You'll also find a queen room with 26” flatscreen TV/DVD, a full bathroom, and access to the private courtyard with hot tub.

Mid Level: Here you will find a beautiful king main bedroom with a 32” flatscreen TV/DVD and deck access. There is another bedroom with a DuoBunk and a 26” flatscreen TV/DVD that shares a full bath with a king bedroom with a 26” flatscreen TV/DVD. The laundry room is also located on this level.

Top Level: The top level of this home is dedicated to living space - you will find a beautifully decorated great room with an electric fireplace, a 46” HDTV with a Blu-Ray player, surround sound, a sleep sofa, and deck access. There is also a well-appointed kitchen, dining area, and half bath rounding out this level.

Amenities: Hot tub, six TVs, five DVDs, Blu-Ray player, surround sound, wireless Internet, and foosball. Beach Access: 570 yards.

What's nearby: Gated community with an outdoor pool, recreation center with a bath house, half basketball court, shuffleboard, volleyball court, and picnic area.

VACASA was a trainwreck
Overall, great house. Could use some shades on the upstairs windows, but otherwise very well appointed. Not sure how there was parking for 4. We had 2 and a third would have been extremely tight. Trash cans were completely full when we arrived. Talking to Vacasa 3 times provided no assistance beyond "leave it outside, you wont be responsible". We finally got a local maintance guy that was very helpful. Brought a grill brush, since the owners manual requested cleaning the grill, but nothing to do it with. Corn cob holders left in the garbage disposal from previous renter, cause quite the racket. Overall some cleaning supplies would be a good idea to leave for renters. A few exterior doors are hard to lock and unlock and dont quite fit. Had to fix the TV upon arrival from the previous renter disconnecting cable boxes. Overall, we enjoyed it, and would use the property again, but vacasa does not do a good job of responding to any assistance needs.

Only complaint I have is the AC upstairs did not want to kick on. We opened the windows for cooler air and when I went to close the one by the fridge, it came out and knocked me on the head causing a cut, bleeding and a bump as well as a headache. The kitchen was well stocked and home was clean and comfortable. Just wanted to let you know about the window so no one else gets bashed on the head.

The home layout, neighborhood, and proximity to the beach are excellent. The home was lacking in some areas of cleanliness (overlooked spill, kitchen counters hadn’t been cleaned, floors needed attention); but nothing we needed to have people come in for. The bathrooms were well cleaned, though the baseboards are due for cleaning. The carpeting is in major need of replacing. The local team didn’t leave some of the basics like dishwasher pods ( did leave washer pods) or trash bags, however, the management company was very responsive and supportive.

Relaxation at Naut in KS
This was a last minute trip for my family and boy am I glad we found this place. It is an awesome location within walking distance to the beach and only 2 miles to local shopping and sites. It was very peaceful and quiet and exactly what we needed for a week long getaway for spring break.

Great house for friends
House was perfect for our long weekend get away with friends/family. Stayed with 2 other couples and it was the perfect little obx house. Short walk to beach and Corolla light. Would be a great house to have pets at with a fenced in yard. But unfortunately not pet friendly. Only issue was trash was full and couldn’t fit our trash in the cans when we left. Wish there was more parking than two spots but made it work.

Favorite Location!!
Property was exceptionally clean and comfortable for the 4 of us. I give 5 stars for that. There were some small issues. The TVs were difficult to work. One call to Vacasa resulted in correction of 2 of the 3 were using. If there were more than four adults the living area would be tight. Beds had plastic on Mattresses so quite loud when moving. These are minor issues that did not effect our stay. House was decorated beautifully. Owners have obvious pride! Showers were very good. WE love the Northern beaches and the location was great!

Clean and comfortable accommodations. Well stocked kitchen . 5 minute walk to lovely beach. Great hot tub for soaking tired legs from 3 flights of stairs!

First time visit to Corolla, NC......
The property worked well for our family. Everyone was able to have their own space.....although a bit smaller than expected.....bedrooms, game room, porches especially. There was such a glare from the large windows that watching TV or using pads was practically impossible all afternoon. Beds were made with white sheets only......no spreads......nothing to make them look more inviting. Kitchen worked well and so did the bathrooms. We used the pool ever single day....it was usually empty. Very disappointed to find hot tub filled with sand. The tech came out and said the people before us were terrible and came straight from the beach into the tub to clean off. Cleanliness of house was OK but the kitchen in particular was filled with crumbs behind anything you moved.....books/games in closet were apparently thrown in and not at all together. We had 2 children and even they commented on how messy it was. Washer/dryer were fine and a great convenience. Was a bit disappointed with beach access. I imagined it a bit closer to the house than it turned out to be. We did have a good visit and wish you many happy years with your home.

Great House!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Naut in Kansas. The house is nicely decorated and appointed. Conveniently located near the beach, shopping and dining. We would definitely rent this house again!
