Tranquil Turtle is a beautiful townhome home that was just completed in 2014 and features 3 bedrooms plus a sleeper sofa downstairs. This home includes a modern coastal-themed interior décor with an open living area and full kitchen on the second floor. Located in the Old Town area of Las Palmeras, this community provides a shared swimming pool suitable for families or adults only. The Tranquil Turtle is less than a half-mile to the heart of downtown and less than a mile to the beach. As you enter this home downstairs, you will be amazed at the great seclusion your children/ second families can have. The downstairs living area is furnished with a couch which also converts to a sofa sleeper and a wall-mounted TV for watching movies. A hall bathroom serves this floor with a vanity and tub/shower. The bunkroom (BR1) holds a Twin over Full bunk bed with a Twin pull-out trundle, a closet and a wall-mounted TV. Tucked neatly in a hall closet sit the full-size stacked washer and dryer to use during your stay. Grill up the day's catch on the back patio on the gas and charcoal grills and sit on the outdoor furniture. The shared pool is a short walk away to cool off after a day of shopping.
Upstairs the townhome opens up dramatically with a large open great room. There is plenty of space for large groups to be able to hang out together in the common areas. Extremely comfortable couches will have you relaxing with your friends in short order. High-speed internet, cable with sports package, and Smart TVs have all the comforts of home. The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances such as a full-size refrigerator, oven, microwave, island breakfast bar, drip coffee maker, assorted cookware and everything you need to cook a meal in paradise. Savor your freshly cooked meals at the table with seating for six and an additional three stools at the breakfast bar. Take your morning coffee out to the second-story back balcony and let the sea breeze whisk your worries away. The second bedroom (BR2) is furnished with a Queen bed, nightstands and an ensuite bathroom with a large tile shower with a glass door. Retreat to the master bedroom (BR3) which is outfitted with a King Bed and enough drawers/closets to easily accommodate those staying for extended periods of time and an ensuite bathroom with a large tile shower with a glass door.
The outside space includes two private decks and parking for two vehicles. An extra fridge, plus beach and pool toys! The City of Port Aransas is the only place in Texas where you can drive a golf cart on the neighborhood roads to shopping, restaurants, and to the beach! Parking on the beach and evening camping on the beach is something that always sets Port Aransas apart from other beach getaways. The beach of Port Aransas stretches 18 miles! Port Aransas offers year-round activities from Sportfishing to parasailing, birding, dolphin watching, biking, and Kayaking. Port Aransas is home to the only seaside golf course in Texas. Port Aransas has year-round festivals such as Beachtober Fest, the Whooping Crane Festival, and the legendary Texas Sandfest!
