Not sure where to start!
Good point: the house is lovely.
Bad points: management company are dreadful. I asked is property was fully operational before booking because of Hurricane Ian and they said yes. We turned up:
Pool dirty and screens broken. No filters working and had to clean every day to try and use a freezing cold pool that took your breath away. I paid for heating on our first day Monday which was not cheap. This takes 48hra to heat up! We thought it had started to work but it hadn’t as the filters were not turned on. This was rectified on Thursday and the pool was a bit warmer Saturday morning. The screens were due to be repaired on the Tuesday but the contractor could not repair them as he needed to contact the management company who would not answer their phone. We could not use the outside pool area after dark due to being bitten as there were a lot of broken screens. If we had been told about this we would have booked somewhere that was fully functional. The front door lock didn’t work after the second day, this was finally fixed on on our second to last day so we had to leave the house unlocked as we had no way to get in.
All in all I would not stay in a property that this management company looked after. Happy and eager to take your money but not so helpful to rectify issues. I spent most of my holiday stressed trying to get them to put things right!!!!’
Not local to any restaurants and golf clubhouse closes at 5pm.
