Exclusively located through a private gated entry in the Crystal Beach area of Destin, Emerald Dunes is a premier destination for vacationers seeking a relaxing, uncrowded beach experience. With only 6 stories and 27 units, Emerald Dunes is known for its unsurpassed beach location, sparkling blue swimming pool (seasonally heated), bubbling hot tub, and outdoor gas grilling facilities.

Emerald Dunes 404 is centrally located right in the heart of this exclusive beachfront destination. This three bedroom residence has been professionally remodeled and offers dazzling views of the glistening gulf waters that extend as far as one can see. The furnishings are both elegant and stylish, which provides a decidedly upscale ambiance. The main living area has plenty of cushy seating for everyone, a flat panel HDTV, and sliding glass doors that graciously lead out onto the breezy beachfront balcony. The dining area offers a generously sized wood dining table, six chairs and additional bar seating. The open kitchen is designed with granite countertops, stainless appliances, and is fully equipped with everything needed to whip up a delicious meal.

Our master bedroom features a comfortable king sized bed sitting adjacent to a picture window which offers a seriously impressive view of the emerald waters of the Gulf. The en suite master bathroom has a dressing vanity area, an additional vanity, an oversized shower with custom tile work, and a whirlpool bathtub. There is a beautifully decorated guest bedroom with a king bed, brand new mattress (Fall 2024), a flat panel HDTV, and comfortable seating. The bunk room offers a twin bed, a full bed, a trundle twin bed, and a flat panel HDTV. Both guest bedrooms share a full hallway bathroom. For your convenience, there is a stackable front load washer and dryer located in the unit.

Crystal Beach in Destin is named for the unique composition of pure shimmering quartz crystal sands that makes The Emerald Coast world renowned. The sparkling sugar white sandy shore borders the ever changing translucent, emerald toned waters of the Gulf. Crystal Beach is on Scenic Gulf Drive and borders the Destiny community towards the East and the expansive Henderson Beach State Park towards the West. This convenient Crystal Beach location is just blocks away from the upscale shopping village of Destin Commons complete with a myriad of designer clothing shops, specialty boutiques, restaurants and a state of the art Multiplex Theater. A Publix Grocery Store and other shops and restaurants are also close by. Within short driving distance are the shops and restaurants at Harborwalk Village and the Village of Baytowne Wharf at Sandestin® Resort. The view was amazing! Loved being close to the beach. Grandkids loved the pool and hot tub. Had to buy dishwasher soap, garbage bags and toilet paper, not an issue just would have been nice to know for our Walmart order.

Perfect Location!
This property was perfectly located in Destin. Very close to shops and activities. The beachfront property had a stunning view of the Gulf with pristine white beaches and its own private beach. The condo itself was beautifully decorated and clean. The only down fall was the lack of supplies. For the amount of money that this condo cost I felt the supplies should have been provided. There were only 8 towels for 5 adult people (3 of them woman) and no normal household supplies to get through the stay. If you are driving to this location it might not be such a big deal (you can bring extra from your home). But when you fly to Destin, you will have to spend quite a bit of extra money for things like trash bags, dish and hand soap, dishwasher detergent, etc... (for only a 7 day stay). Luckily, Publix and Wal-Mart are close by. Overall, I would recommend this property for a great Destin experience.

My husband and I stayed here with another couple and really loved the location! Having access to a private beach for our condo was a game changer…we could see that the nearby public beaches were very crowded in comparison. The beach was very clean and the view of the ocean was beautiful from our balcony. There was a closet full of beach accessories that were nice to have (sand castle supplies, shovels, beach chairs, floats, boogie boards). The condo was located in a convenient location and in close proximity to several restaurants, Publix, Fresh Market, and local seafood shops. There were a couple of cute local coffee & pastry shops within walking distance to the condo. Our only complaints were that the front bedroom mattress was very uncomfortable and needs to be replaced, there were several dirty dishes in the cabinets & drawers, and the sliding glass door was very difficult to open. Lastly, there were very few supplies included (paper towels, toilet paper, dishwashing pods, etc.), but that is mentioned in the fine print in documents shared through the VRBO app, and it was easy to purchase more with Publix being so close by. Other than that, we loved our time spent at this location and would stay again!

Just what we wanted
The condo was clean and the furnishings were comfortable - beds and chairs were above average in our experience. Furnished appliances in good working order. We dis not use beach equipment but there was a large quantity available. The property had more security than most and that was easy to use. My wife thought that the entry door latch could have been more substantial, but it was fine. I routinely Brian’s additional door security so no worries. Other occupants -some like us, some residents, were cordial when we encountered them.

Nicely decorated condo. Had everything we needed & plenty space for the 7 of us. Enjoyed the balcony in the early mornings watching the dolphins. The ocean was like crystal clear pool water the week we were there, The beach was fabulous & clean. Definitely rent the umbrella/chairs for the week, so relaxing.

Really great location! Private beach was a game changer. Room was very clean. Overall really had a great time. Only a few issues. Our check in was delayed 45 minutes due to the cleaning crew not being on time. Remotes were not matched to the TV’s so we had to work through the process of setting them all up. Only some were labeled. Also, only had one roll of toilet paper per bathroom. Just not enough for a 4 day stay.

Nice unit in great location!
This unit is nicely decorated and well cared for! Everything worked as it should and was very clean! Plenty of seating for watching TV and eating! Super convenient beach access! Closet full of beach toys and umbrella (no beach chairs). Chair/umbrella rental during our time frame at end of May was $45 per day! Emerald Dunes is in a great location! Centrally located in Destin with easy access to everything! Beds were comfortable - soft, but not too soft. 2 box fans in the guest closet provide some white noise to drown out potential noise from floor above (sometimes noticeable in multi-floor buildings) or extra breeze while you sleep. Overall great stay and very pleased with ease of check-in/check-out experience!

Highly recommend
Property was clean and beds were comfy. They had fans for sleeping which was nice. There was plenty of space for our family of 7. Perfect view of the beach. Watched the sunrise and set daily from our balcony. Location was great. I cooked everyday in the kitchen and had everything I needed. Even a crockpot and tupperware for leftovers! I would suggest bringing an extra roll of paper towels, a couple rolls of toilet paper and a couple of cascade dishwasher pods if you’re staying longer than a few days. Bring your beach towels and beach chairs but they have a closet with sand toys and boogie boards. They also have a board game cabinet which was nice for the evenings! Thank you for having us! We enjoyed our stay very much.

This is a very nice condo in a great location!! Brand new couch and comfy beds. Loved sitting on the deck and just listening to the ocean. Had an issue on check in but property manager was very responsive to resolve. Note this unit has a king and a queen bedroom (plus the bunk room) - not 2 kings as the listing indicated when we booked. I think the listing has been corrected

Excellent Rental on the Beach
This was our 5th trip to Destin and this was our best rental yet. The condo was as described, well equipped, everything was in good working order, and clean. There is a manager on site and he is always busy trimming something or cleaning the grounds. He was very helpful. The Condo is decorated nicely and was very functional for our family of: grandma, grandpa, mom, dad and 2 kids under the age of 6. The gulf water was beautiful, the pool is also very nice. The extra touches were much appreciated: Flat screen TVs in all bedrooms and living room. And there were charging stations for phones and tablets in all the bedrooms. We didn't have any problems waiting for elevators, or getting out to the beach--the walkway is short and easily navigated. We would recommend his rental to anyone wanting to visit the Destin area.

Perfect, quiet getaway!
The property itself is in a great location, is intimate and quiet, and is easy to get in and out of, unlike a lot of the bigger condos in the area. This condo was spacious enough for 8 of us and Beach Blue Properties was very communicative, helpful and kind. They even delivered a blender to the condo when the previous one stopped working! The Hospitality app used to check in was super helpful as well. Would recommend and stay here again!

Clean unit, accurate description, great beach! Only issue was with the cable provider in the area but, of course, that's not within the management/ owner's control. However, because of the smart TVs and beautiful beach the kids didn't even miss it! Great stay!
