Important update regarding the ongoing work at Charleston Oceanfront Villas. While the original project completion date was scheduled for April 2025, recent updates from the HOA and project managers indicate some delays that may extend the timeline.
As of February 2025, the following key updates apply:
Ongoing Construction: Work is continuing on various parts of the property, which may cause noise, temporary disruptions, or restricted access to certain areas.
Updated Completion Date: While the HOA and contractors are working diligently to complete the project as quickly as possible, they now anticipate that the construction may extend beyond early June 2025. We will provide further updates as the project progresses.
Safety and Accessibility: The HOA asks all rental guests to take care around construction zones. Signs and barriers will be in place to ensure safety, but please remain cautious when navigating these areas.
Pool Schedule: The west-end pool is scheduled to open on April 1, 2025, and the east-end pool is scheduled to open in July 2025.
Parking: Due to ongoing construction, parking is expected to be extremely limited. The HOA will be distributing a maximum of two parking passes per villa.

Welcome to Folly Dream, a fully remodeled 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom villa located at the top level of the Charleston Oceanfront Villas. Completely renovated in the winter of 2024, this luxurious villa offers all-new interiors, including fresh paint, flooring, furniture, and appliances. With breathtaking ocean views from the moment you walk in, Folly Dream is the ideal retreat for families or groups seeking an elevated beach vacation experience. Enjoy stunning sunrises and sunsets, as well as the convenience of being steps away from Folly Beach’s shops and restaurants.

Living Area:
The open-concept living and dining area features floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding glass doors that provide unparalleled views of the Atlantic Ocean. Relax on the brand-new couches and enjoy the coastal-inspired decor. Step out onto the private balcony to your left to take in views of the famous Folly Beach Fishing Pier and the vast ocean beyond.

Kitchen:
The fully equipped kitchen includes all-new appliances, flatware, glasses, and more. With ample counter space and a spacious layout, it’s perfect for preparing meals for the whole group while enjoying ocean views.

Bedrooms:

Primary Bedroom: This spacious room boasts a king-size bed, direct balcony access, and an en-suite bathroom with a newly remodeled shower and double vanity.
Second Bedroom: Includes a king-size bed and easy access to a shared bathroom.
Third Bedroom: Features comfortable twin beds, ideal for additional guests or children.
Fourth Bedroom: Designed for flexibility with 3rd king sized bed.

Bathrooms:
All three bathrooms have been fully remodeled with new toilets, showers, and vanities. The fresh design and coastal accents create a luxurious, spa-like experience. Fresh towels and complimentary toiletries are provided for your convenience.

Oceanfront Views: Enjoy uninterrupted views of the ocean from the villa’s private balcony and large windows.
Two Oceanfront Pools: Take a refreshing dip in the two beachside pools (open seasonally from April 1 to October 31, weather permitting).
Convenient Elevators: Located close to the elevator corridor, making access easy for guests.
Private Covered Parking: Two complimentary parking spaces are provided for secure and convenient parking.

Each villa includes two parking spaces. Golf carts, low-speed vehicles (LSVs), trailers, and similar vehicles are not permitted on the property. Additional parking requests can be made through building management based on availability.

The only complaint we have is there were only 2 fobs for 7 adults. One per bedroom would have been better. We stayed in a 4 bedroom place and had 2 fobs. Talking to others in the elevator they had 3 fobs for a 3 bedroom place. Just a suggestion.

Wonderful place.
Unit was clean and in the best location on the beach. Everything was as described in the description. Bed was very comfortable. If I had to give a con, the only thing I would say is the ice maker; as its a little slow dispensing but it was not a problem at all. Despite some rainy days, We really hated to leave. We will definitely be back to this location.

This condo was great for our family and friends who we shared the condo with. The ocean view was perfect with plenty of room on the balcony. The condo was well stocked with pots and pans. The beds were comfortable.All appliances worked.Overall very good.

Get-a-Way for Long Weekend w/Family
The 4-bedroom, 3-bath, is a spacious condo overlooking the beach. Nice size patio on the 4th floor. We've rented many condo's (VRBO) and say in hotels as we like to travel. This condo's location and property were beautiful, but the condo itself needs major updates and TLC. The Condo appeared "clean" at check-in until you looked around. Large dining room table appeared to be bent or broken as it bowed in the middle and was dirty. The master bathroom toilet had been used because the "male" didn't flush it or clean the urine from the rim. Dirt behind bedroom doors. The ad lists TV in master. There was a TV, but someone took the cable box and remote. The fix from mgmt - they gave us another remote and Roko that I had to program. That didn't happen as I can barely program mine (AT&T did it during install), so we went without. NOT HAPPY!!!!!! The bedroom furniture was older than I am and I'm a 60's baby. The kitchen was ok and very bare compared to other rentals. I also folded the towels and wash cloths left in the dryer from previous renters. That was kind of disgusting as I also cleaned out the dryer vent. This condo seemed like it was lacking the personal attention that many have. I do like the keyless entry as all had the code on their cell (who doesn't carry their cell everywhere they go). Great location to places to eat and shop. Overall, I would NOT rent this until or not this property if management doesn't start overseeing the job of those prepping for next renters.

This unit is dated, dirty, blinds on window broken, stains on furniture, sliding door to balcony doesn’t lock but they did supply a board to set in the track so no one could open it. I did not like to have to remember a code to get in and a key to get to the beach. First time I was required to strip the beds, wash dishes, set thermostat before leaving. Called the second morning about the blinds someone was sent right up. They couldn’t fix said they would send maintenance. Never heard another word the entire week. Blanket still hanging on the sliding door when I checked out. Worst experience ever. If I could find someone in the office I would have demanded a refund

The condo is spacious and has a perfect location. The only little things that were an inconvenience were there were no sharp knives that could cut anything and only one wineglass. We went and bought a knife. The mattresses were wonderful and we would certainly stay there again!

The location of this condo is perfect! Beautiful ocean and beach views. Very nice beach for walks and boogie boarding. Easy walk to restaurants and shops and a short drive to Charleston. This 4 bedroom condo is is very well equipped and we would definitely stay here again.

The location can’t be beat. The condo itself was clean upon arrival. Some aspects of the condo are a bit outdated and the mattresses aren’t the most comfortable, but overall, we would stay here again. We stayed in late April and pools were not heated, but amazing location being right on the beach and close to bars/restaurants.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay on Folly Beach. Walked the beach every morning. Spent most of our time on the deck listening to the waves, and watching the pelicans and dolphins. Beautiful views of sunrise. Short walk into town for shopping, restaurants, ice cream, etc. We will be back!

Amazing Location
The property was just how it was described. Location was perfect. We used it as a home base as we visited plantations, Charleston and other local tourist sites. I would recommend the condo and although we didn't cook the kitchen was well stocked. I would definitely stop and pick up or bring tp, paper towels, garbage bags as we could locate none in the condo. The view is amazing, the beds comfortable and the layout very nice for the number of people staying.

Great location, nice condo
The condo was on the fourth floor with an ocean view. The master bedroom is gorgeous and the furniture fine. A couple of small quibbles: all of the kitchen knives were dull and it was hard to dice even an onion. That was frustrating for cooking. Three of very hard, which is rough for those of us who prefer softer mattresses.

The location and being ocean front were the primary reasons for selecting this property. The price was on the higher end and the photos made the property a good choice for us. The beds in every room were old, uncomfortable and creaky. All kitchenware were hodge podge, mismtached and knives were not sharp. There was a lot of dust on the utility closet louvers and ceiling where the AC vents blow. The celling above the stove top was greasy/dusty as well. Someone spilled something under the fridge prior to our arrival and it was not cleaned. The kitchen table was large, but the table needs to be replaced as it is bowed and dipped in the middle. We have been to several other places in Folly that were in better condition. One bathroom has no toilet paper holder. The property seems to be in the slow process of being remodeled as there are some modern and upgraded items, but several not quite yet. Master bathroom was spacious and nice (updated). Sheets are thin and less than hotel quality. Overall, the condo unit was adequate, but for the price, we were expecting a much nicer experience.

Great view from the balcony to see the ocean and up and down the beach. This is our 2nd time staying in this same room and it was just as good as the first time! We had a great trip and really enjoyed the property and surrounding areas.

Perfect condo for 2 small families!
