Upon arrival you'll be drawn in by the sprawling, panoramic views of beautiful Lake 27.
Nestled on a private point, this inland all-sports lake along with surrounding property offers numerous activities such as boating, hiking, sledding, biking and snowmobiling. If you're looking for a little slower pace, you can relax on one of the many decks/patios and listen to the loons, watch the Eagle soar overhead or take a walk through the gardens. This beautifully appointed home is ideal for gatherings such as family reunions, friend get-togethers, a golfer's retreat or a ladies' get-away.
SUMMER ACTIVITIES: This home boasts plenty of opportunity to stay and play with a private beach, swimming, use of stand-up-paddleboards, kayaks and a swim platform. The beautifully wooded property offers trails for hiking, biking and exploring.
SPRING ACTIVITIES: Springtime in Northern Michigan is special as the woods come to life after a long slumber. Trillium blanket the property or for the more adventurous you can venture out in search of Morel Mushroom.
GOLF: For the golfing enthusiasts, the Gaylord area is one of the premier golf meccas in the country boasting 17 courses with championship golf designed by some of America's top golf course designers. And that's just within the Gaylord area. For your convenience, you'll find the Gaylord Country Club is less than a mile away.
WINTER ACTIVITES: If winter sports are more your style, you'll be thrilled this property is located at the highest elevation in Michigan's famed snowbelt. With an average of 150" per season, you'll enjoy downhill skiing, snowmobiling, sledding, cross country skiing, ice skating or simply observing the winter wonderland while cuddled up by the two-sided wood burning fireplace.
Skiers and boarders will delight as six of Michigan's top ski resorts are anywhere from 17 minutes away (Boyne Mountain) to an hour away (The Highlands) along with Nub's Nob, Schuss Mountain, Treetops Resort and Otsego Club all offering terrain for all levels.
For our snowmobilers, location is key as hundreds of miles of trails intersect Gaylord with access to the Jordan River Valley and Belle Iron Trail providing some of the most desirable riding in the lower peninsula.
SHOPPING/DINING: For our ladies' gatherings, there are so many options. Gaylord's charming downtown offers unique shopping from the infamous Spud Warehouse, to Saturn Booksellers, to White Birch Outfitters. Or within an hour you'll be to Mackinaw, Petoskey, Harbor Springs or any one of dozens of other charming Northern Michigan towns.
If you're looking for an afternoon of wine tasting or a stroll through a lavender farm, you'll find these options just outside of Petoskey surrounding the pristine waters of Walloon Lake.
