Perfect for our needs
The Regency at Poipu Kai was a great option for us. Close to beaches, restaurants and sites. My only issue was, I didn't realize the 3rd bedroom was actually a loft. And, pay attention about A/C in the units. Ours did not have central air, but the mobile AC units worked well.

Need to upgrade the AC
Location and pretty much all the amenities were great, but AC was too loud to allow sleep if turned on, and even relying heavily on cross-breezes - all windows open - there was no way to get the #2 bedroom below about 80 degrees - so younger family members were sleep deprived and crabby half the time, therefore. Having lived in Washington, DC, I am positive there are way more effective, not especially costly, window AC units than the ones currently installed (and that was 15 years ago!)
